Is this the start of making "increase to dropped item quality" a desirable stat for league mechanics and so on?

I do not like this, I am fine with it being randomly generated but being unmodifiiable I despise, this isn't like runewords in D2 where its really not that big of a deal. Please just add a new orb to modify it if you do this.


Crafted and Influenced “faster start of Energy Shield Recharge” modifiers on Rings can no longer be obtained.

RIP, I was probably one of the few who enjoyed the faster start of recharging stacking method and rings was the best place to get it, not the other slots(as they needed all prefixes for +#/% ES and suffixes for resists/int/etc...)

also RIP gladiator block and tempest shield.
Now that defences and flasks have been boosted, it is time for 5 of the 6 portals to disappear from the game in softcore.

Love the shake up. Can't wait to see how people figure out new ways to break the game. It's the best part of PoE.
Still doesn't address the elephants in the room; aurabots are untouched and player damage remaining at -40% without anything done to limit the ridiculous nature of top-end monster damage (mapmodded aurastacking monster packs say hello).
Sounds mostly like positive changes, but I only play melee and cannot judge all the non melee changes.

Fortify for melee is a good change. Why not tie it to specific skill gems too? When you use cleave, double strike, sweep, etc. you get another buff?

Nerfing gladiator sounds pretty terrible at this point. It is among my favorite builds and the most fun to play. Face tanking bosses with max block is a wonderful feeling.

I'm worried about my Raider builds.

You have moved so much to the passive tree that I fear the trade offs to use the new nodes will cost life or dps. Buff the life nodes or give us more points please.

25,000 armor? lol I've never had more than ~8,000 in 7 years of playing.

For me as a casual player using melee skills, the struggle in the end game (T14-Maven) is getting enough dps to kill quickly, The best axes and swords are usually too expensive. Harvest is now worthless for crafting great ones. How about another buff to damage for the old melee skills most folks never use?

So basically..

Gladiator got fucked and they are no longer the block ascendency anymore.. just mediocre at best by the looks of it.

I'm seeing all of this "we added points to the talent tree" bla bla do you really expect players to sacrifice invaluable skill points for any of this? flasks or defenses? for macrocore players maybe but for trade league?

People already get enough points to barely make a build work and sometimes some builds are skill point starving more than others.

Being honest here.. who would actually invest skill points on flasks or this changes when they havent even mention any sort of buff to damage in general?

The poe community in general (except the stans) are again falling for the hype blinded by dev's that made really bad decisions in 3.15 while trying to sell them as glorious changes and additions to the game.

This changes are mostly for the people at macrocore at best.. sure I can understand that people playing trade league also get very punished with losing hours of grinds because of how unbalanced the monsters and mods are but honestly.. how is this a buff or a "win"? you have to sacrifice skill points to get this benefits which in path of exile they are invaluable.
