Path of Exile 3.16 Balance - Part 2 - Core Character Defences and Recovery

I've been playing this game for years, doing fun builds out of lesser used mechanics, but now it feels like ggg is forcing me to play the game the way they want me to by continuous nerfs this league and next league. This is trash

I see a problem with removing dodge. It was what actually made evasion good. A 1 in 4 chance for a melee hit to miss is not very good (at maximum investment) only when you added the entropy system and then the chance to dodge that 1 in 4 was it actually good. Without this I am woried that evasion will be trash tier defences again.

RF got a huge impact during the 3.15 elemental gem nerf. The estimation was 40% DPS loss for a 6 link ele build, but I think for RF it was around 60%. Life RF builds can still build a little DPS with Lifetap Support, but ES RF is dead. I really hope next day we will happy with the ele DOT boost! Elemental Overload and Elemental Equilibrium will be changed, but I hope the DOT boost will compensate for it! I am already happy with the regen and armor changes. RF will be more playable overall I think... :-)

Introduce "Spell Suppression" on Evasion items as well the Dexterity section of the Passive Skill Tree, which gives a chance to halve spell damage taken. The chance can be stacked up to 100%.

Spell Suppression is designed as the Dexterity character's best answer to spells. In general, Spell Suppression gives easier access and more reliable spell damage mitigation for Dexterity characters without reliance on specific uniques. It's also much more reliable than Spell Dodge, but has a lower maximum.



Isn't the last sentence wrongly worded?

Spell suppression can be stacked to 100%, so how can it has a lower maximum than Spell Dodge, or am i understanding it wrongly.

Let me DODGE 3.16 and wait for 3.17 at least i will get new bosses and not the crap maven.
Killing the blind-dodge trapper and the rest dodge-meta as well.
