Path of Exile 3.16 Balance - Part 1 - Flasks and Ailment Mitigation
Good luck everyone. I really hope the game gets to a good spot. I can’t keep doing this every 3 months. It’s become more of research and learning then it is fun. I was such a big fan of the game that I would put in the work and the time every league but they are going to far with it now. Every league it’s like a game within a game and the changes are sooo drastic it has become way to time consuming to build a character and learn about all the new mechanics and all the other bs. I will always be a fan of path of exile. Will always be one of my favorite games but they messed up big time in 3.15 which I don’t think they will fully recover from. Every league I say I’m done and I come back but now even reading the new updates is a job and frustrating. Yea they are fixing some of the nerfs but they are just going to literally need more then they fix. I can’t do it anymore .

" Take two builds that'll synergise by dealing same damage type for example storm brand and lightning arrow, give each of them like 30ex of gear and see how they'll clear juiced map together and kill fat bosses. Then do the same with lightning arrow build and an aurabot. Same budget. They won't even feel the contend cause damage and survivability will be multiplied by 5 minimum. You literally can run all white items on a carry brander and dump everything to an aurabot and still be able to complete Feared like it's nothing. Yeah, that's totally not doing anything to the game and economy lol. |

“Debuffs on You Expire 20% faster” in Soul of Arakali sounds like it makes you take more DoT from Poison and Bleed and other DoT effects. Is that the intent?

Sentiment remains. bring the game back to 3.13 or don't bother trying. It jus gave me the impression of you making it bad and attempting to gain mileage by improving it slightly and gradually across leagues. unfortunately, this is not working.

"You seem to be mistaken. They don’t actually listen to feedback. They pretend like they do with the podcasts and then turn around and do whatever they want or feel like based on the decision making of the small group they have working on the game in their office. The saddest part is when they try to make you feel like you have some say in any of the decisions with polls on what microtransaction you would like in the game so they can gauge how they can profit off of you. Meanwhile there’s no polls for any major decisions being implemented. So no, they don’t care about your opinions as much as they claim and it shows. They’re too stubborn to even admit their own mistakes they’ve been piling on ever since after 3.13, which was the golden age of this game. Now, enjoy whatever is left, clearly they know better in terms of what’s fun, despite them being told otherwise by most. People's logic on here:

Please make sure this modifier stays active if the character reaches full life while the effect is active. Life flasks aren't exactly all that great for Slayers with their overleech, or characters with extremely high life regen/sustain. |

It's beautiful to see how a company bends over the market.
May it serve as a lesson to chris wilson and his team that who makes the game what it is are the players and not the decision of an individual or a group of individuals. Chris Wilson often filled his mouth to say "I'm not happy with MY GAME". It's not for him to be happy, but for the customers. Learned the best way possible: Suffering a massive dropout of players he has never seen in his life. I congratulate people for not bowing to the company owner's mad desires of vanity. |
