[3.15] Eye of Winter ES/LL Self-Cast Occultist

I would say if you cannot afford the majority of the build, to just rock it as life-based with a corrupted 6l/tabula and farm low tier maps for currency if you want to continue.

Very little, 1k-ish HP and 1k-ish ES, as I don't have many of the items right now. Can't afford Shav, shield, weapon nor neck. Maps are so scary, so making any currency probably won't be happening without extreme luck. Hell, I can't even survive 50-ish Heist contracts. And yes, I've tried swapping in Discipline (had to turn off two auras for it) and it only boosts me by about 6-700 more ES.

Edit: Nor gloves. Forgot about them, still out of reach as people keep raising the damn prices on uncorrupted pairs of these damn items.

Easier said than done. Already using Tab, not going to try corrupting my only one. Trying to do Tier 1 maps and all it takes is one rare to either bum-rush me or fire off from off screen to down me in an instant. You can say to do a life-based, but I'm not one to be able to adjust builds on the fly, let alone make my own. Only thing I can do is roll the bones, hope I don't die, pray even harder for some god damned Chaos to drop...

With corrupting he meant using a corrupted 6L from trade. Cheap ones with the right color and 100 life are around 14-17 chaos.
Don't corrupt your Tabula.

You basically replace the energy shield nodes with life nodes, till you can afford the ES gear.

You should really go into your account settings on the website and make your profile public. A few times you've had questions/issues and it's really hard for us to give you a hand without seeing exactly what we can help you fix.

Currently wondering if I should reroll an occultist, because it doesn't really make sense to continue with the trickster form of this build.

Still dying to random shit in T14+ maps with 6,5k+ ES, so not sure if this will keep happening with (way) more damage in the build.

I hate running labs, and really the only enchant I'm like half interested in on boots is Penetration if you haven't killed recently...just helps boss damage. I'm sure eventually I'll buy a GG pair of boots but that slot is good enough as it is.

As for your thing about rerolling to an Occultist, it would be a LOT tankier than Trickster.

You would gain Frigid Wake which freezes stuff around you very regularly. You would also gain Malediction from your curses which lowers enemies damage by 10%.

I'm thinking about a second build to do some bossing (starting with lower invitations but aiming for The Feared). Do you feel like this build should be worth for it?

It handles all of the Uncharted Realms just fine. I'm at 164 both slots on the atlas and all 12 Uncharted points. Out of all the Uncharted stuff, including Maven, I only died once and it was during The Feared. I got slowed by Elder, my Flame Dash was on Cooldown, and the Cortex boss put her swirly AoE on me and I died. Besides that the bosses all basically fell over once I started launching at them. And mind you, this was like a week ago when I had probably about half my current DPS.

1. in POB i see that we use awake hextouch, but we only has ele weakness and forstbite as curses(is it?) so normal hextouch is fine?
2. we're scale crit(heavily) so arent its better to use Frostbite+assasin's mark? or even Forstbit + sniper mark for long boss fight?

Awakened Hextouch got nerfed. It no longer gives you an additional curse. It just gives a chance to apply to Hexproof enemies. Normal Hextouch is perfectly fine.

My crit chance is ALWAYS 100% when I have Power Charges, which take half a second to get all 9 in a single cast of EoW. Sniper's Mark at this point would far outperform Assy Mark but the issue is that Marks only apply to one target. So yes, for a single boss Sniper's Mark would outperform Elemental Weakness. But Elemental Weakness outperforms Sniper's Mark on big packs of monsters like seen in Expeditions. Also, with the DPS that this build can dish out, there is no such thing as a 'long boss fight'. The difference in kill speed using Elemental Weakness or Sniper's Mark is fractions of a second, so you might as well use the one that can apply to a whole group instead of just a single target.
