[3.15] Eye of Winter ES/LL Self-Cast Occultist

So Im slowly heading toward red maps and level 90 (not having much time to play).

I Have Acrobatics and Phase Acrobatics, which means I only have 4150 ES (id have +1700 without Acrobatics).
Im still not sure if I should get rid of acrobatics or not.

Since I dont have much currency yet, Im still missing a ton of damage I think (I have no problem clearing maps so far tho, only some combinations of Runic monsters give me headache).

After I get some currency, what would you suggest should be my first upgrade priority? My characters are public. Thanks a lot.

First would be speccing the rest of your tree correctly.

Second would be a Thread of Hope

Third a Large Cluster Jewel

Could you please help me what are some biggest problems in the tree? Im still a very new player, its my 3rd character over level 70 and only 2nd to get to red maps :)

I mean, either use the PoB link I provided or look at my character and copy the tree. You have loads of points (besides just the Acrobatics stuff) that are just spent for no reason.

EDIT: I also just looked at your skill gems...I have no idea what you're trying to do with some of them xD

Its hard to just "copy" your tree, since you have like 30 more Ex in the build than I do, and I simply dont have the currency to use the same tree as you, that's why Im asking for specific problems and not "just copy me".

Im not sure what skill gems you mean - I have basically identical to yours, maybe you're looking into my Swap weapons? I have gems there just to level them and sell them.

Also - I have a Large Cluster Jewel that seems pretty good to me (I love the small passives), but I guess I need to Seal Mender.

I could have 9,000 EX more than you, but passive skill points behave the same way for the both of us, barring Cluster Jewels and Thread of Hope. You have point spent on things I do not. I am not sure why.

As for skill gems 'basically identical'? Please explain to me how Malevolence, a skill gem that increases damage over time and skill effect duration does anything remotely close to what Zealotry does for a Cold Based hit build. I would also like to know why Herald of Ice is supported by Arcane Surge in your build.

When a small 4 year old child is playing with building blocks, it's very simple. They take the square block, and put it in the square hole. They take the triangle block, and put it in the triangle hole. If you choose to take the square block and stick it up your ass, I would hope that you would expect wildly different results.

Yea, that Malevolence is a brainfart. Needless to say, you don't have to be an asshole.

Herald of Ice is there simply because I dont have anywhere else to put it (not money for Enlighten), and it didnt occur to me that Elemental Proliferation will increase the cost of it, Ill fix that.

As you can see from prior people asking me for help, I am not an asshole. When they ask, they are using the right gems, and have a passive tree that resembles the one that this build guide is based on.

Your tree, and your gems were NOT the same as this guide, yet you asked for help. I told you to first copy the tree, second get a Thread of Hope, and third get a Large Cluster Jewel.

You then went on to explain to me how you have nothing wrong with how you copied what is written in this guide, and explained I should give you more help beyond 'just copy me'...when 'just copy me' is the first step of what you have to do.

If you fail do to the most basic of things, and then get snippy about the answer you receive, expect it to be returned in kind.

It's covered by Militant Faith, turning it into Inner Conviction instead of MoM.
