If anyone got some input, i'd be thankful :D Last edited by eTune#2783 on May 2, 2021, 1:41:56 PM

" Thank you, that helps allot in things to work on. I been having a hard time finding sceptres suggested for anything under 4ex, maybe im searching wrong, but the sceptre's have been one of the hardest things to find as suggested in the build so I got stuck with my two pretty bad ones for now Last edited by krut0n#1456 on May 2, 2021, 2:31:24 PM

My updated PoB https://pastebin.com/ghM9J4Rr
Made some of the adjustments to the gear you recommended, gonna aim for creating my GG Scepters now and maxing out ! Will let you know my progress! |

" The problem with going Inquisitor is that you'll need to really build a bit differently in that you don't have as much support for mana stacking. What makes Trickster so good is that they have closer access to dodge mechanics as well as the synergies with mana keystones and notables. I would think that Inquisitor isn't that good either as a lot of their damage nodes aren't very synergistic with what is ultimately a DoT build. " Try running a live search on this: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ultimatum/k9DgRK6i5 You can swap the base to sceptres if you want but due to the item size and being a few weeks into the league now, I doubt people are really IDing random sceptres they find and listing them. I know wands don't have a useful implicit but if you get better rolls across the board it'll still beat whatever you had before. Your best bet would probably to get a base you would like to use and spam harvest reforges on it anytime you get a grove. If you get a good combo of mods with an open prefix then you can just craft fire dot multi onto there. |

" As per Jolo mentioned, Inquis is VERY reliant on gear as his ascendancy and starting point on the tree does not combo well with DoT based builds. It does look strong but at what investment level? If budgeting is on your mind that could be a dealbreaker " Here is the a trade link that has everything my PoB trade link has minus the empty prefix https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ultimatum/vXYeB0WTE There are still tons of decent sceptres and you just have to buy a couple and annul and hit a dud / useless prefix. " There are still a ton of sceptres out there with decent stats, just no empty prefixes, you can buy a couple of those and annul them to hit a dud/useless prefix and you have your sceptre. I think the biggest reason for not using wands is not the implicit but the skills restricted by wands. Vigilant strike and fortify is a huge defensive layer for us when arcane cloak is down and dodge roll fails. Btw saw your write up and its really well thought out, I can really see that you're an experienced Hexblaster! Picked up some ideas to add in the next iteration! Thank you! I'm still new to hexblast with this being my first league / time playing with it! :) |

hey was thinking of trying the scion variely of the build since i tried it before, so i tried my best with PoB
https://pastebin.com/gry0zSfJ do u have any tweaks or pointers on it? i think its the same gear ur wearing for the 90+ dodge tree |

Thank you for this build, it's very fun and satisfying.
I am slowly transitionning to the dodge/evasion variation. The only problem i have is random one shot from bosses, i guess i should work on my mana pool and climbing the tree to the evasion notables, will update if i have more problems. Last edited by DullahX#2434 on May 3, 2021, 6:40:37 AM

" Thanks, happy to see other Hexblast players. I may write up a guide for mine specifically at some point if nothing changes next league. If you're going to annul for an open stat you might as well go for a better sceptre that you can multimod/add Aisling unveils. Also I didn't do this but you can maintain fortify with a Shield Charge fortify setup assuming you used a shield and Phantasmal Flame Wall instead of using the Spell Totem setup. Although your setup would lose a significant chunk of damage dropping the second weapon. " It looks pretty solid but you'll have to pick up lots of resists over all the default jewels you filled in since you're short on primarily Fire and Lightning. Of course this is over 10ex budget since 6L Cloak along with 2 multimod sceptres are already 10ex and that's before even grabbing any cluster jewels. Your life and mana are a little low despite the fact that you have life/mana jewels in every slot as well. I'm not too familiar with all the medium curse cluster notables but Evil Eye with 2x Disorienting Display is unnecessary. Between Arcane Cloak casting on CD, Hexblast, Flammability, dropping Sigil of Power and your totems, that's enough to proc one Disorienting consistently. You're better off getting something like Widespread Destruction or Prismatic Heart on the large to increase your AoE or resists respectively. The Evil Eye can be replaced with something else then too. If using Malevolence, then you might as well aim for a Watcher's Eye with either dot multi or ailments deal damage faster to increase the output. There's enough jewel sockets. I don't believe a mana flask is necessary for general content. Especially Enduring. You just burn so much mana and recover so much via Ascendancy. Although since you don't have the equivalent of Patient Reaper, a Cinderswallow Urn would be very nice for the recovery stats as well as the Onslaught for faster mapping and you get the benefits of the extra Ignited Damage line on it. If you're gonna theorycraft, why not fill out resists on jewels so you can see where you can take more damage? Also why not fill out the rest of your skill gems with non luck BIS? You have one Awakened Gem in main links but not the other possible one which is confusing. Ultimately it's nice to have the clusters and sockets, but I don't see much synergy with Berserker except for the more damage and maybe some stun avoidance if you attack enough with Vigilant Strike. You say you tried this out before, what were the other benefits you gained by losing some of the other full Trickster synergies. Not having Weave the Arcane is a chunky hit to max mana and sustain. |
