" It does not, penetration only affect "hits" Our ignites are not "hits" thus they do not benefit so dont buy penetration sceptres if possible, normally flat ele dmg ones will be the best Last edited by MarkCalen on Apr 30, 2021, 10:41:41 PM

" Thanks brother! Playing the build, I feel like it has taken the best part of a couple archetypes but the downside is you have to be mechanically good and have finesse to unleash its potential, its like ED/C, MoM archmage and Raider had a baby, its super strong but you have to be prepared to learn and master it. Hope to hear more of your vouches and good luck with your goals for the character! :)
Hey ! I'm leveling up a shadow for this build atm, seems great ! And the guide is awesome. I just couldn't see which bandit you choose for this build.

I am enjoying the build so far, but hitting a wall in red maps where damage just feels really bad against bosses and will get randomly one shot a few times. I have looked over other POB's on here and tried to mock my build after them but its been hard to find those items on the market right now. Maybe if looking over my POB you might see what im doing wrong or missing as far as keep pushing this build further, thank you again for your help https://pastebin.com/HDJrhDZ8

Hey there! Just spent a day re-speccing and trying to gear up for this build would appreciate some insight on how to further push my defenses and damage as I appear to be very far behind what the build suggests. Is my ideal weapon +Burning +Fire DoT multi +Mana + Mana regen +increased Fire dmg?
my POB https://pastebin.com/t5aR4nW6 So far it's been fun but I feel like I'm doing a lot wrong in terms of priority of skills on bosses / skill rotation. Should I always be waiting for doom to max proc from flammability before casting hextouch? or is it better to simply cast it then hextouch and re-cast etc (I'm a noob) Also was wondering if my totems blasting targets before they got hextouched affected the elemental equilibrium or not. If I should be putting them down during ultimatums or not. Appreciate any and all advice! Sick build, having fun so far~ downed Sirus but can't get maven down yet. Interesting take with the dodge based build. I've played my own take on this for the past two leagues (Heist and Ritual) and it really shined for me in Ritual. I opted for more damage, but I still had some layered defenses with some block chance from shield, blind, a little dodge from quartz flask on top of the usual Agnostic/Mind Over Matter/Trickster shenanigans. My big defensive push was squeezing in Divine Flesh and capping chaos res. I've also definitely invested more with some awakened and alternate quality gems, cluster jewels, etc.
Some of the other big things I did differently: - Since I was less Dodge focused, I used Infernal Cry on porcupine packs to pop them and save the onslaught of spikes. This also doubles up as another debuff you can drop on bosses or beefier targets to cover them in ash and increase the damage they take. - I opted not to use increased critical strikes for my Impending Doom links and instead used Phantasmal Flame Wall. With the Enhance 4 still there with Anomalous Flammability, the Flame Walls would give enemies -22 Fire Res, only 3 off from a Scorching Ray totem setup. - The extra slots I saved from the previous point you can use for a defensive CWDT group. I opted for a little more hybrid and opted for Void Sphere to cluster and slow enemies and Vaal Cold Snap to generate frenzies for faster mapping. - Cospri's Will was a godsend because Hexproof maps were a free mod for me and even the random enemies that had hexproof were no longer a problem. It's usually a pretty cheap 6 link due to not being meta and no life and I just got off colors using Vorici in Research but you could also use Harvest color crafts. My POB in case anyone wanted to go that route: https://pastebin.com/R9eVn4Lk Also another note, if you've got your resists covered. Viridian Grand Spectrums are really cheap and having 3 is a great DPS combo that is really only beat by having 4 mod Cobalt Jewels with % max mana, +% fire dot multi, % fire/lightning damage, and % damage/% dot damage. They're also a significantly easier way to get Corrupting Blood immunity. " Yeah you want % Fire Damage, +% Fire Dot Multi, Mana, % Burning Damage. % Lightning and Added Lightning aren't so bad either but Added Lightning would have to be basically t1 to compare to the added from Archmage. I'm assuming you meant Hexblast after Flammability. On most packs, I don't wait for the proc and I was able to pop right away but typically for bosses you'll want to let the Doomsday Keystone do it's work and then Hexblast and drop Flammability again right after. Scorching Ray doesn't "hit" as it's just damage over time so it doesn't interfere with EE. Your jewel near the Shaper notable is basically a two mod jewel since melee crit multi does nothing for the build. A higher roll on your helmet can squeeze out more mana for damage and defense. Your amulet and Dream Fragments could use catalysts to further increase the mana gains. Your flasks are a little wonky. I usually go for Experimenter's prefixes (or Alchemist on Quicksilver if you're using Adrenaline suffix) and cover Warding and Curing/Dousing. Some of those big hit ignites will melt you on the offchance you do get hit. " You need Enhance 4 otherwise you're not hitting the 50 doom breakpoint on your Flammability. Looks like Ele Weakness has no quality, and Divergent Hexblast can get you more damage. Your sceptres are pretty weak as they have really low fire damage rolls and basically they only have mana and crafted fire dot multi. You need better rolls and ideally also burning damage. No enchant on helmet Helmet has no enchant, Foible I'd annoint either Arcane Capacitor or Burning Brutality. Foible and Dream Fragments could use catalysts, but I'd also go for max mana rolls on Foible for the flat and % mana before doing that. Your belt has low resistances so you need to make up for it on your jewels instead of taking more damage oriented ones.
Appreciate the info Jolo! I'll definitely be working on upgrading my scepters and divining my helm to max (woops) wondering where im missing more dodge to not be capped though. Fixed my flasks too lol

" OP has "Have you been Hit Recently" ticked off in their config. You can also bump up spell dodge with the lab enchant if you've taken spell damage recently. |
