With 6-7 ex I can afk clear ultimatum and conquerors on a necro yet it sounds like this build struggles.

for what I can say, necro is still a better option if you want to go safe for that budget.
I have played necro detonate dead max block last league and the only issue was damagin scaling for very endgame bosses at a certain point.
necro still feels way more tankier than this build imho.
also is much more versatile regarding map mods, this build is heavy dependant on regen, so no-regen map will be painful or undoable at most.
suffers from both physical and elemental reflect.
unlucky dodge chance and reduced recovery can be another pain in the butt.

sure you can reroll maps or use sextant, but if the maps are corrupted or zana maps, you can't do much.
I can't speak for survivability or damage in later endgame gear, but necro and gladiator on low budget are more effective for sure.

I'm stuck at a huge cash wall where to go further in red maps I need to have a 6 link cloak of defiance which is very expensive this league

Just a reminder, I noticed people keep Mind over Matter on the tree even with Cloak of Defiance equipped.
Well cloak provide this key stone, so one skill point can be used elsewhere.

Also I did not liked much the generals cry and vigil and desecrate even the vigilant strike way.
Now I am jumping. Probably it is not ideal, but it works for me so far in my slow progression of the atlas. And i like it!

and without the need for flamedash for mapping, I have Enduring cry with the sigil link

No Regen maps actually work fine, just make sure to hit packs with your BB and not waste it on single monsters. Only the boss can be annoying, depends on which one it is and your damage.
For Reflect maps I jsut switch out my Essence Worm for a Sibylls Lament + Yugul Pantheon and it's no problem either.
Reduced Recovery does not effect Mana, so it doesn't really matter.

You also don't need to spend 7+ ex on a Cloak of defiance, every 6link Chest with some decent mana (+ life) works just fine.

If you don't like the build, that's totally fine, then play something else. But your arguments just don't make much sense.

Looked at your gear. Flasks are mangled. No damage reduction flask. No Quartz for dodge. Two life flasks on a build with nearly 2k life recovery from Agnostic?

You're running CWDT & Immortal Call - you realize that scuffs your Arcane Cloak? Your damage mitigation and dodge is way below what it should be.

I just turned it into this because I keep running low tier maps, wanted to reduce some buttons and increase the damage. I seriously kept getting one shotted at t13+ whenever I couldn't dodge(having flasks and everything) so it discouraged me a lot. I just started playing this season after 2 years so I don't really know how to fix it. If you could suggest me what to do to fix this, I would really appreciate it. I think my gear is pretty decent and I still got 10 ex that I can spend

Not really criticizing the build. The guy asked a comparison between this build and the necro. Based on my experience, the necro feels definitely safer on a low budget compared to this.
I'm not saying this is not a good build with some investment. But necro and gladiator are more versatile overall imho.

Thanks for all the feedback, I really appreciate it! I'll think on it... It seems like an interesting league start, but that also means it has a lot of overlap with my existing league start in terms of strengths and weaknesses

I can't use the vigilant strike, it says "Skill can't be used". Does anyone know why? I couldn't figure it out

First, thx for this build. First time ever as a Raider in Poe and doing well so far !

I got some questions tho:

- Does the "Mind over Matter" of the Cloak of Defiance add up with the Mind over matter in the passive tree ? Or does it cancel the other one ?

- Just acquired my 6L Cloak, what should I focus next to get more DPS?

- I keep getting one shoted sometimes, do you have any tips for survavibility in late game ?

When should I refund passive tree to BF/BB setup and start playing it? I'm currently ending the leveling and I'm using toxic rain tree setup, so I'd like to know what are the mandatory things to get started with the "proper" build.
