Now other ways to reduce physical damage: 1) Swap your minor pantheon to Yugul for reduced reflected damage taken. 2) Make sure your bladefall gem is at level 1. 3) Respec your tree and take nodes that have reduced physical reflected damage taken. 4) Roll sextants until you hit the mod “Cannot take reflected damage”. As for my question: Which is better: % Increased Lightning Damage or % Lightning Pen? I’m asking in the context of crafting scepters, currently debating bases. Or just use a Sibylls Lament Ring in combination with Yugul Pantheon (just make sure you take the correct ring slot, depending on if it's phys or elemental reflect).
%Increased Elemental Damage is a better base than %Ele Pen for the Sceptre. |

Hey there,
I'm having a lot of fun with this build, it's a pleasure to play, even with absolute crappy stuff. Speaking of which, can someone help me by telling me what stuff I could improve easily, apart from the obvious Tabula ? I'm in SSF, so anything that could be crafted or farmed. Is it a viable strategy to farm Cadiro to get Atziri's Foible ? I run yellow maps currently with ease, and low level red maps, but I feel like it's getting a little bit difficult at T13. I wouldn't recommend this for new players:
This build is a work in progress. The leveling guild does not match the PoB guild. There is no level/stage goals or recommendations on where to apply passives first. I played Cold ANIMATE WEAPON Summoner last season, so was spoiled with an easy to use guild with reasonable level goals. I wanted to try other builds. When I started this guild I followed the webpage to the letter. Started with arrows then traps. Arrows were great through act 1 and 2. Traps, clunky but were ok through act 5. Act 6 really started issues. I reached out to the discord and was told that if I followed the build I shouldnt have problems. I explained that the mines are taking to long to kill and even at full resistances the longer the fight draws out the more of a disadvantage I am at with these not-a-rituals. The next day the page updates with all new PoB builds. I see starter gear shows items no one can get on day 1. plus it phases out about 20-30 nodes dealing with arrows and traps. I did my best to remove those nodes, still about 8 more to go, and remap to the new skill tree. what they dont tell you is that you WILL NOT have the intelligence to run the gems or get the weapons needed. and without my gems leveling I still am drawling fights out to long. One on One fights are the most annoying. I feel more tanky, or at least till my dodge doesnt dodge. But in short, it should have clued me in as the original build/the current site reflects the actually build doesnt start till after 70 despite what PoB says. I will keep trying to get to the maps just to see the real build but starting to think this build is not for me. |

" Sounds like an L2P issue to me friend, if you can't level with lightning trap which was the ranger leveling meta for a long time you're probably not keeping your wand crafts updated and you probably don't know how to look for gear. The starter gear is absolute trash, if you don't have that by day 2 at the latest you need to update your loot filter and the Leveling Trees have been in the same spot since day 1.
