Scion seems very strong. So does Elementalist and Occultists.
Atleast if we speak about Summoners in a vaccuum. Guardians seem fine, I just think they still will be the worst.

Guardians are basically Necromancers with lower dps, no resistances for your minions and no mistress of sacrifice so very hard to cap block if you want to go that route. I've tried speccing all ascendencies on my PoBs, guardian is ALWAYS worse. The benefit of Guardian is:

- 64% increased armor which is nice
- 80% curse effect, I mean, it's something
- 30% minion movement speed which might feel good during league start before you have anomalous convocation.
- Passive Onslaught for you which frees up a flask slot if you like Silver flasks like me.

Other than that, Necromancer is just more dmg, more minion survivability and more QoL with mistress of sacrifice due to 50% increased duration et.c.

Scion seems good cause you can get the best parts of both Necros and Guardians as it allows you to get both Mistress of Sacrifice and the Onslaught passive. It also gives you a 6 of extra skill points which is very valuable and easily can recover for lost dmg.

Elementalist and Occultist have unique quirks to them that other ascendencies don't have which make them very strong imo. Things like Profane Bloom, +2 Golems, Mastermind of Discord, +1 Curse with Malediction et.c. give them unique advantages that are very powerful to build around.
Guardian just doesn't do anything special. It's just Necromancer with less dmg and squishier minions.

Since you're not running a Frontline you're going to feel extremely squishy.
Frontline really carries the defenses early on and should allow you to level to ~95ish without problems, even with some unfortunate deaths where you don't keep track of your Molten Shell timers.

IMHO Front Line was copium at best and hell of annoying to play around.

Feels pretty good if you invest into duration and bring it up to ~12 seconds.
I leveled to 99 with it when farming currency which is pretty good when not having any real defensive layers.
Had to get a life on block shield and Bone Offering to get 100 though. I leveled to 100 in one day deathless with that setup.
What im doing wrong? i can even do t16 with medium budget??? Thanks for your time

Guessing your issue is survivability.
You also should respecc from Occultist to Necromancer.

After they buffed rare monsters in 3.18 through the Archnemesis rework it's extremely important to run defensive layers, in particular block.

To make the build feel good do this:
1. Get a life on block shield.

Something like this. You're looking for 5% life on block, 30% reservation(To fit Tempest Shield) and other useful mods like life/armor/resists et.c.
Unspecc Necro Aegis (Use x1 Carnage and x1 Host chieftain for charges and x2 Crushclaws for Frigid Roar and dps)
2. Get block capped or as close as possible.
You do this by getting Divergent Bone Offering, Divergent Tempest Shield(If you have the money), Rumis concoction and by picking some block nodes in the tree. Might have to drop Bonechill to fit Tempest Shield.
Auras should be: Hatred, Determination, Skitterbots, Tempest Shield.
3. Fix your flasks, you need armour flasks like Basalt et.c. I suggest Life flask, Basalt with ~60% incraesed armour, Granite(Rumis), Quicksilver with Movement speed. For the last flask, either get a Silver Flask for movement speed or a Jade Flask for some Evasion. Make sure to get suffixes on the flask that help your build.
4. Get a Frontline small cluster.
5. Specc Necro, you need Mistress of Sacrifice to get Bone Offering to grant extra block to you.

If you do all this you should be close to unkillable.
Thank you so much, will do this!!!
What spectres can you forsee minion lovers to choose? Trying to make my own pob (I know I shouldnt right now). Hate not checking the "Minions have frenzy box". What can I replace the monkies with?

Depends on what build you're trying to use. You want your spectres to be supports or pure damage? Assuming it's support cause you want to replace gorillas you have to decide what type of dmg you want to deal.

I suggest making a Physical, Lightning or Cold build.
Phys builds can make use of Demon Harpies which increase physical damage taken of targets by 60%(at 20 stacks). I would probably use a bunch of these to keep the stacks up consistently.

If you're making a Lightning build, you can use Primal Rhex Matriarchs which increase lightning dmg taken. Or if you're a cold build, use Primal Crushclaws to increase cold dmg taken by enemies.

I would probably suggest using one Arena Master and one Pale Seraphim aswell.
Arena Masters let out a shout that increase attack speed by 20% for 4 seconds on a 12 second cooldown if I'm not misstaken. It's something atleast.
Pale Seraphim applies a 15% dmg taken increase debuff to targets.

So my suggestion would be:
x1 Seraphim
x1 Arena Master
x2 Dmg enhancing spectres(Harpy, Crab, Rhex)
btw I found interesting idea for league starting cold conversion carrion golem on reddit:

what you think about this concept? This isn't end game setup, but seems interesting for start
