Alright guys, here's some Low budget testing with the new version of the build.
I'm running Summon Phantasms linked with Syndicate Operative spectres. Looks like yet again, they will be the strongest spectre for our build. The reason is because of their insanely fast attack speed and unparallell clearspeed.
In the video I run a lvl 92 character with extremely cheap items.
Ignore the 6-link Lion's Eye, I'm only running it because I don't have a Skin of the Loyal with correct colors. A skin of the loyal would put my spectres at lvl 25 giving me 4 spectres instead of 3 which obviously is better.
I've also disabled Elemental Equilibrium and for single target I'm gem swapping GMP for Hypothermia to remove their shotgunning effect.
This version is and feels much stronger than any itteration we ran in Expedition. I think SOs + Phantasms actually do more damage than shotgunning SOs, hard to say really. And adding 11 additional minions with GMP throwing projectiles all around the screen also feels amazing for clear.
The testing was done versus Chimera and Enslaver guardians with Guardians Aid and Maven witness.
What's interesting to note is that everything about the build gets better compared to the video. We get more damage from the tree and better defenses. We also will be bale to fit additional auras et.c.
Higher budget versions also seem like they will be doing good.
Actually excited for you guys to try this itteration out! :)

Okay, dude. I was in doubts whether to play DP or Cold CG this league. Screen cluttering of DP was the reason I've chosen CG. And now you post this.

what about a cluster you use in video ?
It's a large cluster with Renewal. Using it so I can run Blessed Rebirth and Life From Death on mediums to help with minion survivability.
It's not required but nice QoL. Doesn't provide much dps.
For the large cluster, you can use any large with Renewal. Mine has Vicious Bite too which is very high budget but it literally does nothing on low budget because we don't have any Crit multi on the build.
If you got a medium with both the noteables you can skip the large entirely.
A good early game large cluster would probably be Renewal, Call to Slaughter and Feasting Fiends. Not sure.
What will be the new setup (budged and high end) for the AG? Any new ideas?
Currently the budget simply will run Leer Cast, Elemental Weakness curse gloves, +1 chest, Dying Breath.
Don't know about the High end version yet. There's alot of possibilities.
He will most likely wear a Kingmaker.
I want to experiment with the Brittle unique helm and Ailment Gloves to see how it works. This would mean we want Elemental Weakness Corruption on those gloves too.
Another idea I want to try is running the new Kill gloves where the AG steals the kills. Then run Inpulsa and Obliterations on him together with EW curse and +1 boots.
Hi bro, may I ask why we need +1 curse chest for AG?
Because I see AG only do 1 curse elemental weakness on gloves.
You run the extra curse on the boots.
Windscream boots are 1 chaos boots usually.
He needs to have +1 Curse because we're running a curse aswell (Frostbite).
Monsters have a curse limit of 1 curse. To run 2 curses the target needs to be hit by something that changes the curse limit to 2. AG has a base curse limit of 1, with the boots he has a curse limit of 2.
So when he hits the target he changes the curse limit to 2 and then applies his own curse (EW). Since the limit is 2 now, our first curse (Frostbite) doesn't get removed.

What makes me most exciting is that the new skill tree actually will turn out to be a buff for the low budget version. As mentioned earlier, the same character in the video I posted would be buffed in the next league.

So just to sum up, are these still viable as league starters for leveling and low budget mapping?
I would like to aim for pure phys carrion golems. Yes or no? :)

[3.16] Build update: Leveling Builds:
PurePhys
Uses Carrion Golems and Syndicate Operatives to scale phys damage with Pride and Dreadbanner. With the new Aura efficiency changes it also is able to run both Purity of Elements and Vitality for huge survivability increases.
Biggest downside is you can't get SO spectres on day one. Also, these spectres have been nerfed to oblivion, unsure whether they are worth running at all after the nerfs. Will need to test them after the patch.
My new leveling build is a completetly new creation that runs Carrion Golems with Artless Assassin Spectres from Smugglers Den Heist contracts.
I believe this build vastly outperforms the pure phys version, both during leveling and in early maps.
The best thing about this version is that it transitions smoothly into the cold conversion build. Basically, just equip Triad Grips and get the new Spectres and you're done.
I will be running this version on league start. I'm sure it will be able to pull it's own weight. Leveling through act1-4 are going to be exactly the same as during earlier leagues.
This is my new creation and what I will be running this league. If it doesn't work, all it requires is some gem swaps in the body armour and I'm back to the classic low budget build. I don't think the PoB numbers will lie though.
The question is whether we will be able to keep up phantasms consistently during boss fights though since there only is a 10% chance to procc a phantasm everytime a spectre hits the boss.
My tanky version of a low budget league starter.
This unit runs a max block build without Glancing Blows with 34k Armour. This should make us completely unkillable versus physical damage. The build also works at picking all life nodes together with Elemental Aegis on a Magna Eclipsis Shield to prevent damage spikes from Elemental damage.
This version runs Hatred, Determination and unlinked Skitterbots. It doesn't run necro Aegus either while putting a lower emphasis on picking damage nodes.
If the league turns out to be extremely rippy and going more classcannony as we've traditionally done in the past, this might be the clear approach forward.
Medium Budget:
This is the new version of a medium budget build.
I'm unsure how the price of this build will be in Scourge League. Hopefully it will be really strong but no one knows until we get to try it out.
My guess is that the build will be stronger than during Expedition, but as with the lower budget builds, I simply don't know whether Hyrri's Watch + Phantasm can outcarry the old Syndicate Operatives.
MediumBudget
Not much to say, keep in mind that this build is pretty experimental at this stage. We're running new spectres and new links and adding a third dps minion into the build. It might prove to be extremely powerful, or we will die to anything that looks our way. We don't know if the new league mechanic is overtuned or not.
This is the intermediate to higher end version of the build I will be working towards. It's not really minmaxed just yet but will use several high ticket items.
My goal with this version is to stack both Determination with Vaal Grace while running a Skin of the Lords chest for the 100% increased global defense modifier. This along with the newly buffed flasks hopefully, will let us trivialize most content in the game. The dps should be respectable aswell.
No one knows how the high budget will look yet. This version will be using new scourge corrupted items and hopefully combining them with other mirror tier items. Hopefully, this will be a project under construction.

Yeah, they are more than viable. The first 3 acts can be slightly though if you try to rush them. I did a practice run and stayed between 3 and 6 levels under the zone I was in (Just run past everything).
Got oneshot alot of times by bosses while having like 250 hp in literally full white gear. If you take your time and stay around the same level as the zone it's a breeze though.
As soon as you finish act 4 everything becomes easy. Carrion Golems will carry you, I also like to pick the Prayer Guard monsters as spectres in Act5.
Once you get to act 6 Heist contracts will start dropping.
The first Smugglers Cache can only contain Underbelly and Bunker contracts which we ignore. But usually close to the end of Act or beginning of Act 7 you will start seeing new Smugglers caches. After opening your second cache, go to the rogue port and speak to Whakkano to see if he has a Smugglers Den contract to sell you. If he doesn't, level up and go again because he resets all contracts after you level.
