Iron Grip explicitly only applies to Attacks. EK is not an Attack.

i mean in depth, what scales, what not, what is best way to increase dmg(people are complaining about it), best support gems etc etc.

Increase physical damage works on it ( oak reward, and 2 points in the entire tree ( path of the warrior and revenge of the hunted )
Spell damage works Projectile damage works Projectile speed, increase your range. Support gem : Added Fire Iron will Faster Casting Curently, i'm trying to play a Righteous fire Ek Scion. I just lvlup 65, and can use my rise of the phoenix shield ^^. |

I read through a few pages and did not find my question though I am absolutely sure its been asked. I apologize if this question is stupid or if (which I am sure I did) I overlooked the obvious answer within the thread.
If I have an item, such as a wand that says "XX% Increased Physical Damage", does this change the damage of the Etheral Knives skill? |

Nope it don't work, increase physical on a weapon is for the weapon itself
