Doryani's Touch Elementalist ignite - is it endgame viable ?

Thank you for all the info! I think I get to far into the rabbit hole and it just messes up any build I'm working on. I was semi talked into going HoT build for my buddies but I am working on another witch for my fist build. I found 2 videos that are at least new enough and have gameplay. ( this build is popular it seems but hard to find anything real on it) ( short of you helping this noob out ) After playing the HoT proc witch I really want something a little bit more tanky but still has that good burst capability.

I greatly appreciate all of the info and the help I really do. I think I need to just pick a build and go with it.

this one does more damage but as you said it takes a build up to do so.

He has great notes in his PoB < the second video > He basically builds it around a flask and popping a bunch of things as I would rather just slam the normal stuff and do a cycle of sorts for a boss!

Thanks again!! PoBs are so new for me this is the first time I have tried to follow anything normally I just look at the items in a post and try to mimic the best I can.

I'm trying to find ways to mix these builds and mine, if this is ever possible, and I will update OP with a bit more info, as it seems this is endgame viable after all.

Thank you for all the help! I am going to try my best to mix the builds for good damage with some good survivability. I don't think I am ready to do the set up for that much damage at the moment lol. my new witch is only 51 so I got some time before I can start working on one of these builds! I've spent so much time looking stuff up and not playing it seems lol.

All in all, this build can have even better damage with another cluster jewels set on the left, and more survivability with Doryani's Glorious Vanity, which comboes with the Fist; something like this:

Not completely finished, but this PoB displays a lvl 80 character with 6k+ ehp, around 3M dps (counting double ignite with Emberwake) for a crazy low price, as all gear on it is 1chaos except Kaom's Heart, total is around 25c all included. You just need to buy 4 jewels with "5% chance to ignite" mod and you can run all maps, up to T16.

The PoB displays my actual skills, so it uses awakened gems, but with regular gems the dps stays well over 1,3M per ignite, so over 2,5M total dps, with no jewels or clusters on.
