You're trying to sound more knowledgeable or smarter than you are, and it's painfully obvious. "COVID-19 can be classified as a pandemic" means "pandemic is the correct classification for COVID-19." Just popping in to let you all know that this thread is going to be locked and/or deleted by the You-Know-Whos, for violating their ever flexible You-Know-What. That the afore-mentioned You-Know-What makes zero mention of global pandemics being off-limits on this forum matters not at all. After all, as a certain swashbuckling Hollywood pirate said several years ago, "Hang the rules! They're more like guidelines anyway." Guidelines that You-Know-Who get to interpret as they see fit. And the multiple previous threads that touched on this topic on this very forum have provided ample evidence for how You-Know-Who choose to interpret said You-Know-What.
