Hi Leo,

In the very first days of leaguestart the ring "circle of nostalgia" is often expensive. You can get the ring without HoA damage and only with reduced mana reservation often cheaper, but you can also take the following trees for leaguestart instead with discord artisan and only easy to get or craft basic cluster jewels.

Level 83 without circle of nostalgia or uncompromising cluster, with discord artisan instead:

Level 88, Leaguestart with only basic small or medium clusters:

There are many tipps and alternatives for each slot and each piece of gear in the spoiler "Tipps for beginning, levelling, gearing and Leaguestart" and for the ring "manamanagement".

Let the spiders dance!

The HoA works until red maps not full geared and not full optimized very fine. The crawler is a bit slower than other speedmapping-builds, but very relaxing and fun to play and tanky as hot hell.

Can you use a cyclone setup instead of ball lightning to poison?

Yes, you can use cyclone as attackskill too, it is a bit smoother in movement. It's in singletarget situations not so fast and continious building up virulences stacks and damage for the HoA, but works for almost all content very fine, only some content like full deliriums or maven are getting more difficult with cyclone.

I would advice to try both, cyclone and ball-lightning, and take the one you like more.

For cyclone is a section in "gear, skill, links" next to the gloves:

When you prefer to combat meleestyle and want to move whirling while attacking, change to:

Cyclone - Cast while Chanelling - (Anamalous) poison support on gloves - fortify support - (Anamalous) Ball-lightning

For this melee-setup change your gloves to rare gloves with integrated poison support and faster attacks.
If you want, you can push out "frost shield" of the cws setup in helmet. While you are using cyclone supported with fortify you have enough damagereduction.

Hey Blightboy,

Thanks very much again

I've read some of the guide and I picked the first POB link, I just wanted to make sure its the one you recommend.
While I don't plan to hit level 100, I still plan to finish as much content as possible as long as I am alive!

Last league I died to Twisted Distant Memory Synthesis Boss Map, the degen or dot killed and I didn't do the boss before so I was clueless mechanic wise, I thought I would be able to skip some of the mechanic but my damage wasn't good enough and I wanted to force it which ended on my regretable death.

Yet again this League I want to raise the spiders with their new friend, scorpion

Thanks for explaining what each tree gives as I didn't see that in the post, its so helpful to know that, now I know that once I am confident in X content I can switch in future to the 8m build.

I will finish reading the build today while waiting for the league!

And after all I will need to farm for the dagger to be able to start!

It's a swarmy and nice ranged and melee combination and a lot of fun to stack the virulences.
Hope you enjoy and hug the bosses ultimate!
Respect for playing hardcore, I am always to fearful to try out and I hate dying in softcore already a lot. I would be much to nervous for that challenge, hehe.

And I will take a look, last league there were some HC playing great with the Arachnophobiatic Allstars.

Very interesting!

Hello, fellas, can someone point me to the cluster jewel priority? What cluster jewel should be the first and what to get on it? Thanks

Mmhmm, very difficult question...

I would go:

1) medium cluster: uncompromising (& stalwaart) (mana for determination, a lot of defences)

2) when you still feel squishy: medium cluster with Hibernator: much defense in combination with Pantheon Soul of Solaris

Then:

3) first large cluster: raze and pillage for more light in dark dungeons and call to the slaughter: movement speed for minions

4) first pure agony: damage

But, when you trade and not craft, of course watch/ observe for discounts and low prizes in market.

...

I quoted this reply so it would be on the same page as the leveling tree screenshots you posted above so I could plan what order to respec my tree during league start as I start to be able to afford cluster jewels. Between the two posts this was exactly what I was confused about and looking for more information on.

I have seen you mention crafting cluster jewels is much cheaper a few times in your guide and in answers to forum post questions. Can you point me towards a good resource where I can learn how to do this. I did not play much of Delirium due to fact that POE makes my arm and wrists hurt when I play too much so I have to take breaks for a while, sometimes for leagues at a time. Is it just chaos spamming? I tried to look it up but got a little overwhelmed by useless or maybe outdated info.

I would like to thank you for your detailed build and all the effort you put into it. Your English is very good for not being a native speaker. What really shows up is your enthusiasm and passion for the game and helping others. Really a shining example of this community at it's finest. Vielen Dank für alles.

Harvest crafting can make it easier as it targets specific things, fossil spam and traditional currency spam can also work.

Thank you Cooter the Wooter!

Yes, when you craft clusters there are so many gamers needing clusters in trade you can make some currency with it. There are a lot Videos and guides about, a basic old and probably outdated one is:

Spoiler

Cluster Jewels
As for most items in the game, I heavily advise against crafting these for yourself exclusively. The amount of sellable Clusters you will hit before hitting something you want is ridiculous. Therefore, if you’re in a trade league, you’re going to need dozens of bases which you will have to all sell to not make this obscenely expensive for no reason. I would generally say it’s a lot more convenient and easy to just buy what you need rather than rolling them yourself as they are incredibly hard to roll.

Anyway, worry not, I won’t leave our SSF players out there in the cold. If you have no other options than to self-craft them, you should never expect to hit more than two Notables. If you are extremely lucky, you could hit some useful third affix with them, but that is not expected. The way you go about this is you pick a single Notable that you “require” the jewel to have. You proceed to use Orb of Alteration Orb of Alterations on the item until it hits that particular roll. If it’s a single affix item at that point, use an Orb of Augmentation Orb of Augmentation on it and no matter what the outcome is, use a Regal Orb Regal Orb too. That way, there are two chances for your to Augment or Regal a second useful affix on it!

Again though, expect to not hit something exquisite for a while, as they are pretty hard to get optimally rolled and expect to be settling for Large Cluster Jewels with 2 Notables instead of 3, and Mediums / Smalls without any added benefits to your small Notables. They will definitely still be extremely overpowered though as they have been the biggest spike in power that we have seen in the game in a long time!

You can craft them like flasks with Alteration and Augmentation Orbs and then add an Regal orb.

When you check in trade or know some of the popular clusters, perhaps you make some currency.
Sell the good ones crafted and buy the ones you miss and need. Small clusters you can craft alone. Some make a lot exalts with trading them (medium and large clusters).

As archangel writes, fossile- and harvest crafting are good to craft also targeted.

Get also later implicits in harvest when you like crafting, the ailment avoidance implicits are great supports.

Thank you a lot, I hope you enjoy the build and have a fine league, und vielen Dank für deine guten Worte!

Hey there :) I am a very casual poe player , finding hard to beat endgame content. So i've red alot of your build guide, but i am still confused is there a build variation that can lead me through league start to end game (lets say easily) . ofc i hate dying so i guess the first variation would fit pefectly, but i've tried few "tank" builds before and i felt like no point of not dying when u are killing a rare boss in 5 min :P . Is the transition from league start to end game kinda easy, without the need to spend 50 ex or so.I know how i sound..everyone wants tank build with 100 mil dps for 1ex.. but :) I had lost alot of time trying builds that said ..little investment and most of the times "little" was 150 ex so u can clear some endgame content. Ofc i am not talking about 1 sec kills of endgame bosses, but can a casual player use 1 variation aof your build and still be able to clear the game? thanks in advance :)
Hi,

I started the template.

Ball ligntning + poison + spell echo + GMP doesnt proc my agony crawler ... i don't understand why.

So actualy, i use cobra lash + GMP + poison + faster attack which work
