I get nerfing aura stackers moving forward, but having a character i spent almost 4 months improving nerfed into the ground such that i cant even play it in standard is a real feels bad man. i definitely wont be spending that kind of time min maxing a character moving forward.

^ Yes. This. The purpose of this game for me, and a lot of players, is to gradually acquire gear to build more powerful characters. Some of this gear is difficult to find or expensive to buy, and the inclination to do so comes entirely from the trust that, once you've got it, you won't have it taken away arbitrarily.

Remove that trust, and anyone who's been burned will not want to put in that effort again.

Splitting the game between temporary and permanent leagues was a brilliant solution to satisfy both those who want a more controlled and updated experience, and those who care more about persistence and long-term investment.

Retroactive nerfs shouldn't ever be necessary under such a system that already caters to both types of players.

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS
And for ppl who dont have a good PC and have drop frame rates builds like carrion golem or SO was realy good cuz they dont protect you and at same time dont do too much effect to lower your fps too much,

listen this cry babys who don't like see other ppl having fun with their build its so bad to the game
Hmmm, the nerf to Spectres seems quite unfair. True, they are very powerful, but you need a high investment to reach that power level. I mean, you need +1 Spectre chest 6L, which can be between more than 1ex to 10+ex depending on how good it is (a good one around 5-6ex), +2 gems wand, even without minion damage, would cost around 20ex minimum to buy, and maybe around 4-10ex to craft, and then you need elder +1 spectre gems boots, which can be expensive as well. So a minimum of 15-20ex for gear is more than enough in exchange for the return in power.

Maybe you just should bring the other minions up to snuff, hmmm?
Aura stackers added game propgression where EXPENSIVE upgrades really made a difference on a character. Thats the reason i played the past 3 leagues until last week.

Cant wait to spend 30ex on a generic build and be out by week 1 :/

Simply remove necro class and spectres etc ? Why are you doing this nonsense thing ? :)
nerf is not balance...
First GGG announced some nerfs for OP build like aurabots / carrion golems / SyOperative spectre. Nothing crazy until now.
Then GGG announced that all the cool mechanics will be in game (Harvest, Heist, more Syndicate, more Alvas, etc). Good news!
Then GGG announced that the atlas is highly customizable. Amazing! Then, you need to fight with 10 bosses same time to get some cool rewards. Sounds like a challenge ! Lets prepare the coolest POB ever and have some fun during Covid pandemic !!

THEN, cold shower. ALL the OP/decent builds are gone. Auras/golems/BladeVortex/you name it. Side effects, all minions builds are dead, all spectres are dead. So, if you want to get some fun, try the shitty skills that nobody likes.

Btw, GGG: you forgot to remove completely HeadHunter/Saqawal's Nest/Shavronne's Wrappings. Let's try kill all 10 boses with one white stick .....lol.

GGG, do you realize that we love this game because we are looking for FUN ?
is there any point playing Summoners anymore? you killed ZOMBIES, SPECTRES, GOLEMS. now what? just delete this class already. this is outrageous
Damn, I wanted to play a Golem Build this Season, but a build that I can actually afford, you know? 3-5 Links for my Gems, but I don't see that happening, yet.

I'm not giving up hope. Maybe someone can come up with a good, workable Leaguestarter, endgame viable Golemancer Build.

If not, I'd rather play something else and wait for PoE2. I also don't see the point in reducing the power of all the OP builds, and making all normal builds not work any longer in the process. What's the point of a game if it's just grind and no fun?

I enjoy being totally overpowered. It is a game, I'm also not gaining an extreme benefit by using OP builds. I'd still have to spend endless hours grinding for the best gear.

Also, yes, I'm totally salty now because of the Golemancer changes. But you know what? Me being salty is also me not buying any Supporter Packs. Me being salty is me ignoring the League and rather play Final Fantasy and Cyberpunk. At least Cyberpunk doesn't care how overpowered you can get.
Yes! Awesome nerfs!
