Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

Alright now that sounds reasonable and fair. Thank you for sharing
<3
All these guys saying cyberpunk wouldn't affect the playerbase because it's single player make me laugh. Is your room mate patrick star?
I'm glad you shared what you have. It's up to GGG to make decisions that keep the company profitable so I can keep playing; it' not up to me other than buying things to support your awesomeness continuing. :D Keep it up!
Just be a bigger game than Cyberpunk and make them delay their launch around yours next time 5head

But seriously, this is the right call all around. Disappointing to see so many people complaining about it.
The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard
The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard
As someone who has played for a few years without taking breaks or treating leagues as an achievement playground I am perfectly fine with the delay. One of my favorite things is the events you guys put on(well, used to) and I am super excited to see what you do for the lost month! I appreciate the transparency you continue to give us and even when I disagree I'd still rather have it than not.

Thank you for all you do, I have a low simmering hype for POE2 so hopefully that is coming along well.

Honest like most replies say in this topic. Absolutly not.
If people had not replied so emotionally the second topic was never posted.

You having balls to come back on it. Absolutly.

The main reason:
"

But the commercial reality is that if we kept our original release date, we would be fucked. We believe we'd lose at least half our players, almost all of our streamers, a chunk of our developers, and we honestly wouldn't blame them. Launching at the same time as a game of that size is not feasible.

There is nothing wrong about making money. A lot of people will pay a lot because you made a great game. The only thing they ask. Be honest and respect us. And the first topic was a big fail against that.
If you had posted this topic in the first place youre mtx selling had gone sky high. But never to late to learn.

Said it before. Like heist. Like PoE and like GGG. Keep up the good work and learn from mistakes.

Someone once told me: Making mistakes isnt bad at all as long as they are all different.
Personally,I don't care in the least about Cyberpunk. The delay is fine regardless of the reason,in the hope that it will be tested and debugged
to a degree not seen in the last few Leagues!

"
Alpha testers aren't allowed to talk about what they see on Alpha, but the state of the game at that point is usually a bit of a shitshow. I think we only managed to get one actual league up and playable this year before its release. That will change if we have this extra month between completion of the expansion and its release.

This is a more honest evaluation than the usual "Launch went very smoothly with few problems" posts we've seen after the launches, and it's refreshing.
IMO,GGG will lose more players to buggy, unfinished, incomplete expansions that from ANY competing game. Test, then test some more, until you have an expansion that doesn't require gigabytes of fixes for the next several weeks!!
Thanks for the honesty at least, hoping this will actually make a difference!
Some mornings it's not worth chewing the straps off...
Well, what can I say, a game maker actually being honest, and not giving bull answers, soooo refreshing.

I for one will wait with anticipation for the new league (sod Cyberpunk: will still buy the game but wont play for a while)

Thanks for the update
some greate races is greate
