I like this more in-depth explanation. GGG, you are one of the best gaming companies to ever exist. Unlike Riot, Blizzard, and Bethesda, etc, this company has times and times again proven to us that they care about their players and they really want to make a good enjoyable game, rather than just spit out a cash grab and go with the "bad advertising is still advertisement" model. This outrage is simply a quick reaction by players like me who already preplanned and took out days off for the scheduled day, and the second we stopped our anger to think about it realistically for 1 second, we realized that business-wise, this is a really good move from you guys. Sure, Im, a bit bummed that I have to wait 2 months for the new league since I'm kinda burned out on heist, but I understand that as a completely free to play the game, you guys need to adjust your business strategy based on unexpected events.

how about you release tested content and stop catering to the 0.001% of players who play 40 + hours a week.

Retention would be alot higher and people would then think the product is worth spending money on.

One good game comes out and you guys delay the release. Says alot.

I'm not a big gamer outside of PoE, so I won't be playing Cyberpunk, but I still love this. A more polished expansion, and some fun stuff in the mean time (which gives me fond memories of old PoE).

I request you don't just do a flashback thing because every league feels like a flashback league since there's so much access to old league content. (unless flashback means like we actually get to re download and play an old version of PoE with old balance and content and whatnot. Something pre-atlas would make my jump for joy. Though I know this is difficult and unlikely).

Endless delve sounds super cool. I'd love to see a cutthroat or battle royal type thing. I'd also love some mini races (speed brutus/merveil/dominus kill, etc) Maybe not a full race season like in the past but something similar... Or maybe a crazy league with absurdly high drop rates but it gets voided at the end. Honestly this stuff sounds more fun than a regular league :P I've done a million of those already.

I fully understand the reason behind the delay for the new PoE content. I respect the decision making ability and the ability to step back and give yourselves more time and to step "out of the way."

You guys always make amazing content, and I am excited to see it. It takes a really talented team to know when to delay and step back and wait a little bit - decisions I fully respect. The GGG dev team gets more time to polish the content when it does come out and not be painstakingly overworked while doing so. It's a win/win I think.

So, thank you GGG for the amazing content you all produce and this amazing game. While I myself will be spending some time in Night city, I do plan to come back to Wraeclast as well!

Thanks GGG. Almost all poe players I know are happy with this schedule movement. Late December is usually critical at some jobs in the end of the year, while January is commonly lightened. I think your decision is fine in every possible direction. Don't listen those triggered (trolling mb as well) boys.

I don't personally care about Cyberpunk, so I was disappointed with the announcement at first. The speculation just raised more questions, and this post addresses those questions.

After the year we've all had, if you just said your team needed a well-deserved holiday I would have understood.

Please forgive us for having such high expectations of a consistently over-ambitious development team. We love you for it!
