Damn Demon Souls looks awesome! WOW. One of the greatest ARPGs of all time, best in the franchise.

In any other fucking year I'd be staring at my shiny new ps5 waiting to once again delve into Boletaria's strangely homely depths. The reverse compatibility and vastly improved load times are no-brainers for me.

I'm running on groceries/bills from savings only with itty bitty splurges like a book or game here and there due to Covid freezing my source of income, which is mostly fine because it also reduced our social spending to zero. And since I am not spending much, I didn't keep an eye on the ps5 or its availability issues. So by the time I did, it became clear that even if I could fit one into my budget, it wouldn't be until well into 2021. I'm not fussed. My ps4 backlog is impressive. This month's free psplus game was Shadow of War, which reminded me I never gave my copy of Mordor a proper shot.
