Just want to say thanks for the guide. I'm having issues with knowing what gear I should be using. Are we using any evasion for a defensive since we have some evasion nodes? Thanks.

Yep, the idea is to eventually have a large pool of Evasion and Energy Shield as defensive layers.
might be a dumb question, but in the guide you wrote

'spell damage' doesn't increase ignite damage

but doesn't the hexblast damage get boosted from spell damage modifier?
which means base damage of the ignite is boosted, so ignite is boosted eventually.
I just got little confused, it would be great if you cleared this out. :D

love the guide by the way, having lots of fun with it atm
Day 2 of the league. currently lvl 77 with absolute garbage tier gear and still only a 4 link but no sign of hitting a wall yet

GGG, in their wisdom, decided that spell, attack, melee, ranged, AOE, etc modifiers do not apply to ailments like ignite. You can read about it in detail on the wiki: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Ignite

An interesting distinction is that modifiers to "chaos" will increase the base hit, while modifiers to "spell" will not. Don't ask me exactly why...

So it means, that if I boost my hexblast damage with spell damage modifier, it wouldn't actually increase my ignite damage...?

Seems really weird, if that's what ggg wants I guess it is what it is.

what do you think about flammability - increased crits - doom support with increased area rather than onslaught?
Had to stop at A10 until friend gets back online, but so far so good here. I am getting pretty annoyed though during heists where mobs around breached doors randomly take like no damage while others die in 1 ignite. Failed at least 3 heists because of that and they end up zerging me.

And maybe it is just the nulled effect from hexproof, but I definitely notice a damage drop against hexproof mobs. Even with Scorching fire and EO active it feels like taking down a boss while other rares die from 1 flammability + blast. Can't get EE yet because I pulled a pretty good wand with fire to spells + fire dot multi so hopefully that helps a bit when I upgrade my wand.

3.8k eHP and mostly capped res with a 4L heading to Kitava tomorrow.

Personal preference. Go faster or bigger aoe. Both should help clear speed in their own ways.

You need the Fork version of POB, see the POB "spoiler" for how to get it.
is that an error? flammability with increased crit support gem? poe says thats not compatible?
