Will Harvest Become Core Path of Exile Content?
" Why would I bother mapping when I'm sitting on 400 exalts and a mirror and none of the gear with more then 4 T1 affixes ever hits the live search? That's more or less where the game ends up every league. Sorry that you've never been there to experience it, but it is what it is. I just usually end up playing other games with live search open until I, inevitably, simply stop playing PoE for the league after a month or two of zero results. +1 here for the idea of more deterministic crafting, and storing acquired crafts (maybe on the crafting bench?)
While: The harvest-league itself can be scrapped. Was fun, but we were all there for the crafts anyway. |

" Are you referring to the players buying crafts in Discord? Because for players not buying crafts, it takes a week or more to farm enough crafts required for one item. Sorry, but I am not going back to the RNG fest. I will not play the next league. |

Harvest was a lot of fun for me as well since I was able to get some decent gears for once.
I'll remember this when GGG start posting new supporter packs & stash tabs!!! GL I hope you make more people happy than pissed off. |

"Yeah... Reddit item showcase: "It only took me 60ex worth of buying remove and add influence to make this mirror tier item!" Casual player: "Huh cool but I barely have more than 5ex in a league, glad the hardcore players are having their fun tho." Forum troll: "Hurr durr every casual player is running with mirror tier item in every slot for no effort at all, gaem too ez plz fix!" |

here is my small take on it.
i both hated and liked the league. i hated the garden i liked the crafting. i did most of the games content without any mirror tier items or trading for craft's. in my opinion the problem ist the craft themself but the fast that they are tradeable. I know this is against GGG internal goals for the game but they should consider making items that was harvest crafted on account bound if they dont want to do that at least bond it for a week or so to make selling/trading the craft hard. What I liked most of harvest wasnt the argument x but the craft that change resistance from one you dont need to one you need. I hate it when i upgrade my gear then after that i see i have 150 fire and 20 lightning. then i need to replace something else to make up for the lost element. with harvest i can just turn that fire into lightning resistance it was the best part of harvest for me personally. |

In my opinion it makes it too easy to get good gear. I read a lot of comment and a good way to implement something similar would be through beast crafting, as was suggested. There could be beasts that give targeted annul and exalt. I don't remember who suggested this but I agree 100%.
As for Oshabi and the garden, I say we fight progress. The garden is way too tedious. Waiting for seeds to grow is not the worst but gathering and storing lifeforce is awful. Oshabi is not a bad boss encounter. It could be added to maps like synthesis and I would not mind. TLDR: Add crafting with extreme care or not at all, scrap the rest. These are just my two cents. |

" A fair synopsis of the current situation. Wp. |

" That's called gambling. Even with harvest, majority of players weren't geared in 3 days. And it set a new standard for gear, which is fine. You can actually set semi deterministic goals that were reasonable with harvest. Item has the affixes you want?, but low tiers, you can fix that if you put the time into it. The item is missing 2 good affixes, but the other 3 are very high, you can fix that. For high end players who already were getting five or six t1-t2 affixes on multiple items within a month, Harvest made crafting even better items even easier for them, because they are efficient and have the free time to do it. But it also opened up items that would require way more rng to make that are the BiS for them, so even high end players had goals after their very strong items were "easily" made. But for the average player who only plays 1-3 hours a day, Harvest made items accessible , made crafting feel workable instead of relying on alt regaling and exalt rng to make make an expensive, but overall 4/6 good affix item. Regular players are going to have to go back to using twostone ring, with 50-60 life and 90% total ele res as a decent item several weeks into the league, instead of being able to take a decent ring and slowly work it to a "top tier" gear item they don't want to replace. I do agree with it. About balancing, how about some incubator-esque mechanic? Instead of tracking how many times you interacted with seed caches, it determines a number of monster you have to kill before the encounter. That may end up go way outside of scope, turning in to a complete different mechanic, but I can only think how cool it woul be if, for exemple, I got a incubator that instead of a drop, it give me a limited amount of special crafts on my bench.
