Your general VD necro will always be viable. With Harvest gear or without it. So who cares if we can craft gear that makes Deadeye or Raider viable past t12 maps?
Harvest introduced disgustingly powerful crafting options, yes, but it also allowed the casual playerbase to experiment and play builds outside of the standard cookie cutter builds that function on next to no gear. I think that allowing the entire playerbase to enjoy all the content is better then making them all roll cookie cutter OP builds that scale with next to no gear.
Until they address the fact that they balance content (Such as SRS A8 or T12+ maps) around the best builds making the rest near-non-viable, deterministic and powerful crafting is a really nice band-aid.

What do you even know about the league, with 15 challenges completed? I have 37, soon to be 40, and like I said in a previous post, the deterministic aspect of this league made me play longer than I ever have in any league before it. Your baseless assumptions mean nothing, and your abrasive wording reduces their value to below zero. And no, fossils don't even compare to seedcrafting.

In what world have you seen fossils as deterministic crafting ? They barely avoid "some" affixes from being rolled in a stream of mulriple affixes layed in RNG...

It seems a lot like Stockholm syndrome. They were so used to 100% pure RNG crafting and raw currency farming that the second something comes up that reduces RNG in crafting, no matter how small it may be, they call it deterministic.

Setting up the garden is a PAIN. Maybe modular layouts for those that don't wish to invest the time but still want to craft. Also, if you move from a high level character to lower level and your garden is full of higher level seeds, you are stuck clearing it out prior to gardening with lower level characters or face instant death if you are not paying attention to the level of mod you are spawning. Do love the crafting, however, vs. bench or using currency directly on items, as that is not enjoyable and takes a lot of learning time better spent on playing the game.

Harvest gardening content itself can be skipped, but the ability to do targeted crafting was the best addition to the game in years.
