[3.12 UPDATED] IMMORTAL Stone Golemancer | Tanking Sirus storm | 100M DPS | All content AFK

@mhaar: you need to make sure you have your chaos golem at least lvl that gives 5% reduction. Then, that gets multiplied by eminence jewels, primordial bond, golem #, tree, etc. However, I can say that I run 1 eminence and primordial chain plus I have 100% chaos golem buff effect on helm and I have basically naked 60some %. 2 min endurance = 8% more and flask = 15%. I also run taste of hate for a lot more. Armor is basically negligible for this build, I would always set PoB to an enemy hit of 10k or more to get your actual functional phys reduction.

I decided Taste of Hate over Rumi because Taste is guaranteed reduction whereas Rumi is just a chance to block and our overall block chance is quite low already. Since I have an extra flask option I run a granite flask with 100% armor buff for all the smaller hits.

Basically you won't REALLY get to 90% phys reduction ever, but through various other mitigations like armor mod x% of physical damage as element, taste of hate, etc. you can get to functionally 90% or so.

ah yes forgot about pantheons too giving a big chunk of phys reduction.
@NNN: its odd that you see bosses being shocked all the time...the gloves would not cause our minions to shock at all since they only deal cold damage. Conflux only affects our personal damage, not minions.

But hey if bosses are reliably shocked, then Beacon is great. I just will never understand how the skill truly functions
@NNN + others: thanks. I do have like 40% reduction while stationary. I assume I need more eminence jewels + still not well setup with clusters and rings.

so far running granite of iron skin + basalt & CWDT IC setup and so far seeming kinda safe. I guess I just need to get more levels and gear and snatch They of tul somewhere.

I mean the effect of gloves "Minions have 10 chance to Freeze, Shock and Ignite", I think it makes them pretty always shock enemies.
That isn't how that mod works...only lightning damage can shock (except under conflux which only affects player). The line "freeze, shock, and ignite" does not translate to ALL damage can apply all 3.

What it seems like is that Beacon of Ruin allows us to shock with any amount of damage: a crit will guarantee a shock with 1 damage instead of reaching threshold, and a normal hit of 1 damage will apply a shock if we roll our shock chance. We are relying on the 10% chance to shock we get leading into Beacon of Ruin, which is not hard to get 1 / 10 hits against a boss.

Oh also, even if it were our minions producing the shock, then that shock would not benefit from Beacon of Ruin because that only applies to the player.

one more question. How do you feel about chain mod maps?

You know, if you swap to Necromancer, and change the Chaos Golem for an AG with Kingmaker, sure you lose a little bit of physical damage reduction, but you gain like 10m dps. I would love to see the real build and not a path of building crafted gear since that should be more realistic but nice guide anyway.
