Has anyone tried the base carrion golem build with the pob that goes along with it minus all of the jewels/cluster jewels under "Final Tree"?

If so how far did you guys get before you got the jewels? I just beat act 10 and leveled up to lvl 68 but I'm too poor to afford the jewels right now. And can someone provide a trade link with all of ths stuff I need for cluster jewels? It's kinda confusing for me to put all the stuff to search for in the official trade site. Thank you
I league started with this build so it was quite a challenge without cluster jewels or the gear. I used those passive points to path to other minion dmg nodes on the tree itself and slowly transitions into my cluster jewels by taking out the lowest dmg nodes first (if possible).
The biggest "roadblock" was before I had shavs when on "low life" chaos damage always killed me...
I did manage to get to T10-12 without shavs and cluster jewels, then started to notice I really need them for DPS.
Thank you. Seems like we use medium jewels too. Just change the added # skills to 6 instead of 8 in the trade link then get any of those jewels or do we search for something different?
The link is only for the large minion damage cluster jewels.
This one is for medium jewels, with the exact (minimum) mods on it:
They're getting pricy, so it's wise to learn a thing or two about the cluster jewels we use, to tweak or change the mods to get started.
Or craft them yourself.
Is anyone able to take a look at my build? I used the same setting as the POB on pg1, and my carrion dmg is showing 114k...what am I doing wrong? lol
I did load in your character (hiest), and your golem's DPS is 2M+ (total impale dps) WITHOUT animate guardian buff's, with them it will easily go to 2,5M+ or even 3M ;)
You have to make sure when you load your character in POB to add points in the tree to your cluster jewels (doesn't happen automatically)
Get all configurations right...
Add your guardian buffs (edit your necklace)
Double-check your skills, if you have a Vaal (aura) skill POB won't check the normal aura, only the Vaal one. (Vaal haste)
Look at the right dmg, total impale or combined is the most accurate for golems, since they impale 100% of the time.
got it, appreciate you taking a look, that's more closer to what I was expecting from the pob on pg1, just need to learn how to use POB...
I just corrupted my Prism Guardian with Grant level 23 Discipline skill.
What's the best way to use this ? What to put instead in Vivinsect ? (only got one for now).
Or should I just sell it ? (12ex apparently)
Thanks
Perhaps try and fit in another aura, Flesh and stone (blood stance) is a nice damage booster for golems, although it's aoe is rather small. -> good for boss fights.
Vivinsects also helps for ES regen (life converted). Getting a better rare ring for it is possible, although not cheap and probably a lot harder to find.

I'll try to do that but with 121 life and 59 mana left, I don't really know if I can.
Get rotten claws on (large) cluster jewels instead of feasting fiends (keep others). Then replace impale with damage on full life.
Get Vaal haste, as an extra dmg boost.
Get a better watcher's eye with ES regen while affected by discipline.
Rearrange your spectres, they should be linked with blood magic, IF you're using carnage and host chieftains. Their mana pool is so low that the frequency of casting their power and frenzy charge buff is way too random and almost never happens.
Your current setup is 4M dps (per golem) in POB, without animate guardian buffs, so with it probably around 4.5-5M
Another option is to reroll to my variant, which currently sits at 8M dps per golem and the QOL to curse, shock and gain ES on hit, with one button (cyclone). It requires quite some currency though.
Since POB pastebin link are still broken, the (POB) code is a few pages back.
