[3.14] Gryph's Thirsty Archmage Cremation Necromancer

Hey i spend some time changing your tree using your POB, trying not using any cluster jewel and i manage to to do it loosing only 7% dps and 7% mana regeneration.
But with no need of using any cluster jewel this makes the build even cheaper!

After spending 8ex worth of Scourings and Chances on an ilvl 47 Zealot Helmet I got curious, is there a trick to it?
Kitava's Thirst just won't come up and it's starting to get expensive, am I doing it wrong?

Edit: I bought a Trash to Treasure for another 6ex now, seems to be the better way... Anyways my Kitava's is now at 15ex, oh well. Next upgrade will be Headhunter. Not that I need it.

Great build. Skyforth have tag "You have no Life Regeneration". is it very bad?

We don't regen life so it's not bad. Agnostic does not "regen" it is recovery based on our mana,

And yes, RStrides are very good starter boots.

I am however wondering if you could give us some hints on the cluster jewel crafting, this is quite hard to guess, do we need those 3 big nodes? are others viable?

Fossils do serious work. Lucent+Metallic should do the trick. You also dont have to get too much. Scintillating Idea and Doryanis for leech are the best ones if you can only get 2.

Doryanis Lesson can also be harvest crafted with Augment lifex2 I believe.

if you are not gona have the exact same cluster dont bother take any cluster at all... just take the passives from the tree. like on that pob on the top of page 44!

Is increase area of effect good or bad for cremation single target damage? I seem to be always moving around and not gaining intensity stack. Is it better to switch intensify support to concentrated effect or lightning pen for boss fight?

Intensity stacks snapshot, so you place your 5 geysers (geysers 3 through 5 have max intensity) and then you can move freely.

Increased to AOE (such as from the tree) are great for cremation as it makes more overlap.

If you don't like the feel of intensify you can swap gems for Controlled Destruction and Lightning Pen. I would not use conc effect though.
