Content Update 3.11.0 -- Path of Exile: Harvest

Someone's probably already said it but 38 pages it too much to search

The location and Quest information for "Urgent Orders Support" is missing.

No biggie, the wiki will get it soon enough.

Just thought you'd like to know
Maybe Im just the wrong person to be even having this conversation. I mean clearly most of you are all about that meta build and how good it does end game.

I barely care. I've done like 100 builds by now and so I am a jack of all trades. I try different things and enjoy them. If my builds can do red maps, then Im good. I've done some maximising here and there, but not as often. I don't even really have the time to maximise every idea that pops in my head, much less the interest and patience for it.

So yeah, maybe there is a disconnect between us all on that front.

I see these changes and think "wow, look at all the melee crap I can test out, this gonna be a fun league!" while you guys probably see the changes and think "omg! that 1 good build I am using is now dead, I have to find another one!"

What can I say. Each to their own.

Its quite laughable having people tell me "i have zero clue about end game"... I know the end game just fine. Thank you. I just find your end game uninteresting. I killed Sirus once. Although I was glad my little "not-100ex, personal and not meta online copy paste" build did it, overall it was a stupid fight imo (found the last phase to be just trolling levels cheese), and I really have zero drive to grind more builds into doing it again. I honestly couldn't care less if I never touch Sirus again. In fact, I make a point not to.

If that is all that end game is to some people... Well, each to their own. If meta copy pasting is all people are into and exploiting obvious broken mechanics? Well, 1) no wonder you get burned out, and 2) no wonder why you complain so much when they are nerfed to normal standards.

Peace out.

Does anyone knows if they fixed the bug when with an alva in a map that would bug when you return?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Buffs the base of two handers in prep for a 2hander league, nerfs all unique 2handers so they are essentially in the same spot now. I bet they will even be shocked when everyone continues to ignore the slow nearly unusable things. Especially since things like starforge will now be weaker than the 2hander they use to kill shaper to drop it.... like... really?
I guess I will have to buy a one way ticket to hell with your lives

As also, how is Starforge supposed to work now? Old Infernal Sword implicit is ,,30% global accuracy'' - now infernal swords get ,,+ to elemental Damage %''.....

So the best Two-Handed Unique Sword in the game, which was a common choice for many 2 Hand builds, now has as implicit ,,+ %elemental dmg'' while having ,,deal no elemental dmg''????

Is that supposed to be a dumb joke?

I'm pretty sure that they changed the implicit for Starforge to 30% global physical damage. Does it really matter though? Its % went from 400-500 to 200-300. That's a big unnecessary nerf, and no implicit will save it.

That change was done purely to gate out casual players. Starforge was never the best sword, but it was good and accessible.

About rage building, what about Kaom's Primacy? It is a 2handed league after all. Idk, personally I want to try it out and work around it, see how it goes, and if this league has indeed buffed 2handed options.

The other thing I usually go for is Chain Hook. I simply love the playstyle of it, and it has rage generation inate. And it allows you to go in a completely different class direction. Think Mathil ages after I was doing my Chain Hook was trying it out, on a ranger???

Point is, there are options. So try them out and see how it goes.
And so your first or second builds are not that good for end game. Who cares? Everybody is so fixated on being "the first to do end game and grind currency".... I find that a buzzkill approach. I barely care what anyone else is doing in a PvE game tbh, I just want to have fun and enjoy the game.

Hence why I said, I barely care about that 1% of content involved around boss killing. Since some skills are not even that good for it (Chain Hook, or at least, I have not found a way to make it viable for such content yet... maybe I suck, maybe I dont have the time, maybe I just aint interested, take your pick).

I even done a strange hybrid a few leagues back, Chain Hook Rage and Endurance build, then switched to a two handed weapon with Vigilant strike that could sustain itself for boss killing. It was ok. Fun, but ok. I didn't have the patience to maximise it more, I just wanted to try other things out after that. And on the journey goes to discovering things and having fun.

(Which brings me to my whole "I can't wait for PoE2"... Im trying multiple skills already, can't wait to have more 6link options where I don't have to have just ONE primary attack... Should make my gimmick builds a hellota more fun imo. Can't wait)

For you is just a matter of building something and if it's fun, you are done. For me, I want to push my character far enough to make it viable to do the end-game content, which I have successfully done lately.

It's a matter of preferences, I don't like to make meme builds and you do. You don't care about skill mechanics, I do.

I like to try new things as you do, but for me trying "new things" is making the "new thing" to work while still be playable enough to do the end-game content to make more powerful characters.

There are options, indeed. But what you consider "options" is way different than my conception. Even tho I like doing things differently, I don't like 2H weapons, I like the fast pace of the DW, I did only 1 build with a 2H mace and it was a Ground Slam Berzerker. "It's a 2H league", well, it seems that it will have the same effect like the "bow league", where almost no one played a single bow build but a melee and necro build instead xD

The 2H buff is not a buff, honestly... They said they have buffed a 15% the 2H damage. Man, ONLY 15% while nerfing every unique on the other hand? Nerfing the attack speed on bases, only buffing 0.3 ~ 0.5% crit base values where it's clear that almost no player goes crit with 2H weapons unless you use an Exquisite Blade. For your option, Kaom's Primacy was gutted as like a big number of other uniques...

Melee will still be a viable option, I guess, but I feel that it will be so clunky to do...
I am so sad Fidelita's Spike did not recieve any balance changes. Please keep this item in mind for the next time <3
Zana mods are a joke and need a buff. seriously, look at the numbers :/
yeess....zero change to my build :)

The base distance an enemy is knocked back by knockback effects is now based on the enemy's size. Smaller enemies are knocked farther back than large enemies.

Nice meme... bye bye knockback at boss
