Hexproof now gives immunity to curses, on top of preventing any curse being applied. This means that if you gain Hexproof, you'll immediately remove any curses on you. This was an oversight that this wasn't already the case, and will mean that stealing Hexproof from enemies will now clear all curses off you.

Starforge received the most significant reduction of damage. It provided more physical damage than any other unique weapon by a huge margin, as it was designed before pure physical damage was a competitive way to build skills. It is now more in line with the damage of other unique weapons while retaining its special Shock, Area, and Life modifiers. It now has a custom Implicit of 30% increased global Physical Damage, as the Infernal Sword base type now usually gives 30% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills.

The Circle of Fear, Nostalgia, Regret, Anguish and Guilt Unique rings that affected Heralds now give lower values of Reservation Cost reduction and lower values of Buff Effect. These rings provided too much power and were too obvious a choice for so many builds.



IMO these items were balanced right for their rarity, now they will probably be always underwhelming despite the difficulty to acquire, which also nerfs the possible rewards to some endgame content
Happy not to have to comment on all this, because I switched to something else.
We need a 'Skip all "They nerfed MY build GG GGG" posts' button. Suddenly only 5 pages of 'FIRST' posts [Removed by Support] and 1 page of normal replies remain.

And one has to have in mind that the game is balance around 75% resistances, like even getting 65% means like 50% more damage taken, and you get one shot, and now 50% that is 100% more damage taken like who thought that would be a good idea

Seems pretty simple if it's so stupid and it's not something you'd take or would want to work your lil brain to get around the downsides of it.
Bad in every aspect.
- Bestiary 2.0 league.
- Unlogical nerfs to everything we like and just massacre of recent fun to play builds (yes, heralds and brands were fun to play, you could have adjusted those to being reasonable why did you need to kill the builds completely?).
- Killing brands in a brand league.. It does remind me of that "bow" league we had.
- Buffs to 2h in terms of dmg whilst what it needed was survivability and smoothness.
- Warcry with cast time but not shared cd? Do you really think anyone would like to mindlessly spam "qert" (while not being able to move to make it even more enjoyable especially on hc) in addition to "12345" before engaging each pack of mobs? So all that rework costs nothing as the only way to use warcryes would be just the same as it is now: get that key node (to make it worse it is not annointable now) and bind your warcry of choice on lmb.

I would really, really prefer if you did a legacy 2.0 league with minimal new features and balance changes and focus your resources on poe 2.0 and qol:
auto sorting, aoe loot, combat log, ingame dps meter, ingame trade, 1 button to bind several flasks, so on; all that kind of stuff.

Bad ggg, bad!

I will still play it, like if I had a choice..

Anyways,

We all know Storm Brand with Brand Recall was stupid with Archmage, but then why do you need to nerf Brand Recall AND Archmage AND Fevered Mind AND %mana increase items ? Can't you see nothing will remain ? This is not how you balance a gem introduced last league, I'm sorry. It was interesting building with mana, but with quadruple nerfs it's not even worth trying anymore.
