[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
" For elemetalist, the original POB listed for 3.16 in the first post will provide you an excellent build. I am going to be trying Inquisitor crit myself this league just for something different. |

" After last league, with the trolling of "look at these scourge mods!" and "look at these uniques!" I stopped getting excited about these teaser uniques. It used to be "oh if I dropped a mirror I can afford everything!" now it's "pfft these cost more than a mirror..." I would rather get a mageblood or something generically useful, or even the amulet that adds the socketed gem to the body armor spell. Anyways, if you are coming back in as (basically) new player I would suggest going with the elementalist version, non-crit. It is much easier to gear for and get it working. The extra AOE makes the build feel great, and you are reflect immune. The crit versions depend on price of leadership and getting your stats exactly right, with righteous fire working. I was doing great at around 6.5M last league, now you will hit 10M with the base POB which is more than enough. |
|
what are you guys gonna league start with? i'm thinking doing righteous fire and switch when i have enough currency.

" I have been going back and forth but as of now I think I will league start incin since I am a typically slow player and the unique availability fills in pretty quickly on trade. |
|
" This is an interesting suggestion, thank you. My first concern would be that we would lose our stun immunity if we lose one of the unwavering focuses. We could swap to Brine King to help mitigate this but then we lose some DOT protection from Arakali (which helps us sustain RF). |

One very small item I would like to solve is that the theory craft POB still shows a tiny amount of ES leak while moving due to RF.
It is so small it will be meaningless for game play but I did notice that in 8r3nt's video that he was not leaking ES when moving... Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge#5265 on Jan 29, 2022, 12:31:06 PM

I made a very minor change to the IncinInquisitorCritAseneth POB and that was to remove the level 78 tree since it no longer made any sense with the new tree needed to support the gloves.

A small reminder tip for any one league starting this build.
Keep your eye out for any ruby rings either by a vendor or on the ground and save them. When you can, you want to perform the following recipe twice Magic Wand - Orb of Alteration - Ruby ring. This will provide you a spell damage wand with a single stat of "adds fire damage to spells" If you dual wield these, your leveling experience will be significantly smoother. This recipe will work even better this league because Incinerate got a buff in the added damage effectiveness area so we will have more benefit from the "adds fire damage to spells" stat in early game. I will be added this info to the POB notes section. Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge#5265 on Jan 29, 2022, 3:29:27 PM

Here are the latest versions of the two POB's I am maintaining. If you see any mistakes or have any suggestions let me know. I may soon drop supporting the second one as I think the Asenath version is just better all around.

" How about this? https://pastebin.com/guycXaNZ Different pathing to get the top left fire wheel along with covered in ash from the mastery. Can also get matching strength/intel without any extra on jewels or gear just by divining Circle of Anguish and Asenath's. DPS drops to 9.5mil, but should still be overkill after the buff. One thing I noticed with yours is that you don't have enough mana regen to sustain incinerate so I found a ring on trade for 40c with a crafted prefix that can be replaced with the -mana for channeling craft. For gem changes I removed IC, but I'm not sure what to replace it with. Maybe just something simple like faster casting to make flame dash a little quicker? Or maybe enduring cry for a source of endurance charges against bosses when flask might be empty? |
