[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

Hi everyone. How are we getting 75% spell block? I'm playing a witch version of the build and I can't figure it out. If someone could explain I would be most grateful

I keep playing around with Guardian pob just because guardian has always been my favorite ascendancy, but every time I watch another video from you I think "why am I wasting my time? Combined dps and tankiness of Inquisitor just can't be beat."

Hello! We get spell block on witch in numerous places on the tree and double it with Glancing Blows.

You are missing the skill Tempest Shield. We added this skill in 3.16 to the build when it received the ability to give Spell Block when holding a shield.

Take a look at the very first POB listed at the very very top of the first post. That will show you the latest version for 3.16 that includes Tempest Shield.

your Endurance charge uptime looks excellent against bosses. How is the up time while mapping?

Clay had some problems with Enduring Focus in 3.16 but Enduring Composure looks very good for you against bosses, at least. I assume it is probably excellent in maps too.

Although it likely does not matter for us in 3.17 since you are fitting this in due to legacy cluster jewels we won't have access to in the league.

thanks:) endurance charges are almost always up during mapping, similar, like when bossing. EC works at least in standard, maybe there will be some positive improvements in 3.17 regarding charges, they were very heavily nerfed last time.

Hi! I'm Thal or Zee, whichever you prefer. I first want to thank you for building this guide, I have been enjoying playing this build. I've just hit a few snags and need another set of eyes to take a look at my character/build to help me out. I'm a visually impaired player and the one button toasting has been great! With a few extra clicks here and there.

I don't quite have everything recommended, bottled faith primarily because Ex. Lol. But I did do the best I can.|

I'll admit I'm unfamiliar with using the forum and am unsure how to link my character?

If you can see it (somehow? lol) I've gotten pretty good survivability. I'm having a bit of an issue with dmg though. In the fight with Drox before even getting to Sirus (A8), I'm not DPSing his flags down fast enough to then dmg him. This is with Molten Shell and Vaal Righteous Fire up. Am I doing something wrong? Please, if someone could take a look, and be gentle, I'd appreciate the advice.

Hi Thal!!

Welcome to the thread. I am happy to hear you are enjoying the build!

I was able to download your character and review and I have some tips/corrections to share with you.

1) The Incinerate helmet enchant provides a solid amount of damage. The exact one you want is the following: "Incinerate has +2 to maximum stages". This one change alone will really help your single target damage

2) Your incinerate gem set up needs to be 6 gems total. You have only 5 and then have Defiance Banner in the 6th link. I would remove Defiance Banner and add in Inspiration. This will help your damage quite a bit and your mana resources

3) If and when you can afford it, anoint your Amulet with Whispers of Doom. Right now you can't use the two curses you have in your Temp Shield/Hex Touch set up. This will be another good source of DPS when you can do this anoint since it will allow for both curses to be active at the same time.

4) When you have all corrupted gems in your incinerate setup, replace Skin of the Loyal with Skin of the Lords (look for a keystone that at worst does not hurt you. You can ask here in thread if unsure.) Skin of the Lords got a massive buff in 3.16 and we use it now as the the default armor as it is much stronger than the base Skin of the Loyal.


If you can make these 4 changes/additions, your DPS is going to go up nicely

You are currently doing around 1.29m dps
If you make the 4 changes above, you will be doing over 2.5m dps, about double what you are doing now.

Try some of these out and let us know if it makes any difference and then we can help with the next set of upgrades.
