I play PoE since release and i just started on PS4... and i'm just going to go back to PC...
Agree. I gave up because of those studip greedy prices in market. This destroys the game for me. If theres no time to farm 24/7, its much too expensive to make the build you like.
Dear active Players: What is it worth to have 500 Ex at the end of the league? I tell you: Nothing, absolutely nothing! |

I could understand a well rolled CoG with phys damage increase with damage reduction or a buff % increase with a damage increase or reduction, with good implicits going for a premium, but you can't even find these really on xbox anyways. I just went through looking for one this morning and there were several mana res 30ish% and minion percent increase going from 3-10 ex. Just lulz.

i feel you. That's exactly how i feel every time i'm playing console. Played like 700 hrs or so on pc since release and about 200 now on console.
While being scared from the market and its pricing too, i found out things aren't as bad. First off: Yes. Console players are ruining this game because of the price tags on items. you're correct. seeing the most lvling items being sold for like 20c and stuff is hurting my eyes. And if i think about simple things like geofris baptism for 20-40c doesn't make things better. however, always remember, you'll make more money too with it. It's just the start with your first character that's getting harder than on pc since you cannot afford anything at all. once you got one char ready to farm t6 - t10 maps, you'll make a shitload of money just because of these pricetags. i know that's not much better but it is how it is. I Simply would love if GGG would use the same API on console as on PC so the public stash tabs could be grabbed by poe.trade aswell. that way we would be able to trade with poetrade and may have a chance to normalise prices aswell if sellers are seeing their counterpart price tags from pc. let alone the possibility to look up some items with exact stats and pricings .. |

I play on PC and I wish I could sell my Kaom's Heart for 10 EX not for 10C :/
That´s ridiculous. " Well said. Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on May 13, 2020, 6:36:52 AM

You're literally the reason people have no idea how to price items.
1. This isn't the pc market, don't compare them 2. Pc has around 10x as many concurrent players as console 3. PC players have external tools to price items for them (not to mention tools like pob let people know what's good and what's not). 4. GGG don't listen to console players (or their plees to improve the game) I have no idea why you assume they will be exactly the same when they're like non identical twins, they came from the same place and do some of the same things but that is where the similarities end. |

I played last season on console and this season on PC.
Console is 10xs more enjoyable. Bots farm PoE on PC non stop. So everyday everything is being de valued for no reason. A chaos or fussion drop its almost not worth picking up. 1 exalt gets you like 180c on PC where 1 exalt on console gets you like 60c. So every map you get a chaos is worth a pick up. Nothing has any value on PC a few weeks into league besides godly items. Your never ever finding anything of value. And if you get a Awakening gem is barley worth anything. Find a awkening gem on console and there might not even be any on the market. That is a exciting drop. The prices people wanted on PC for some good rares are rediculous. I started crafting all my own gear and was able to make gear better then anyone had on the trade market for 10% the cost. For me on PC bots are playing the game for you and ruining the league. On console you play the game and earn everything. I have like 200 exalts on PC and started over on console not sure if I'll do much the rest of the season but its more fun. Not a fan of the bots. I remember the b.net Diablo 2 days with all the bots. Even I ran bots before I left for school and they would farm all day and night. I imagine this is being done in PoE 20 years later and way more advanced. |

Console is the worst (xbox here) the trolls are trash and price are way to high. We have the same drops as PC with 1/10000000th of the players.
The players are just nasty on xbox, I hate it. I used to play on PC but for the same reason as you much rather chill on the couch. |

Played on PC for quite a while, as well. Got rid of my pc gaming rig a while ago (to cut down on the gaming a bit :D ) and have since been playing on PS4 on and off.
The supply and demand structure is different on console, so I totally understand that prices should be higher and I’m fine with that. However, sometimes they’re just simply outrageous. If a build-guide on the forum says ‘just get this cheap unique jewel to significantly boost your dmg for mapping’ and I check and it’s 15ex, while it’s maybe 20 chaos on PC, that’s... well. Now I’m a bit stuck with my build and have trouble progressing. Together with the total clusterfrak that is the console market search functionality / trading functionality in general this is can make the game quite frustrating. Especially at the start of a league. What I’ve learned from that is, I’ll just make sure to use a league starter build that can get to maps with just trash items. And then either don’t play for a while, or farm until you have the currency to either progress that build or play the one you wanted to start with originally. :D Basically, playing on console is SSF 70% of the time. And some builds you’ll never be able to play unless you have A LOT of time to farm. Then again, there are also builds you won’t be able to play properly because of performance. :D And maybe that’s more important? In addition to the many other console issues (crashes, flask triggering, inconsistent UI/UX/button assignments, etc.). |
