Again.
I have 3 starforge priced on the market.
The one which gets offers on is the fourth, the one not priced. And you think I should answer an "how much?!?!" question? Lol

Why no price on all of them? For what reason? I mean i know, but id like you to say why it is that you have priced them all, save one. It might help

You didn't read carefully.. consequentially you know nothing dude. I'm a grown man, no need any attention. I've skipped that part of your reply before but you keep insisting...

3 of them are PRICED.
1 of them is UNPRICED.
Guess which one gets the offers?

As already stated if I want to keep all my uniques in the unique tab but selling a few of those uniqes only, should I buy another Unique Stash Tab?
If I want to sell 100 Orb of regret I have to use the currency tab free slots. That means that all my other currencies are public. Should I buy another currency Stash Tab just for selling 100 regrets?

Went through your post history and you seem like a good guy so im gonna delete what i said. Just confused as to why, if you know that you can set a 999ex buyout on an item, that you just dont do that if you dont actually want the hassles and lowballs coming in is all. Wasnt suggesting that you buy extra tabs

This way you are not bothered by 1c offers anymore (mostly) and the legit buyers know that its NFS and not to waste their time. When i see 99ex 999ex whatever i know its NFS. When i see no price, i inquire, and i dont think it should be a shock that you would get those inquires. Obviously people want to shop for the best price. Not everyone is out to lowball with no coin in the bank

To the first point, why would you reject an offer of an unprecedented item without an offer of your own???
Your just losing an opportunity to make money. If the offer is actually reasonable, reject with your own offer and maybe even set a price for the item. It’s also really annoying for people to reject the item you want and you have to keep guessing how much they want. Especially on console where it’s really hard to find the exact item you want due to shitty trade filtering, and a low player count

Personally i feel that if a seller has an unpriced item up, and a buyer asks "How much" and the seller rejects or doesnt respond, then the seller is the one responsible for any time wasted, and not the other way around.

Some people just need the attention. That whole "look at me Mom" personality trait.

I never bother sending an offer for anything. I will always opt to ask "How much" and if i get rejected or if it sits up there for more than an hour, i just move on. I figure the person is fishing for the attention or that they are too scared to give a price for fear it wont be accurate enough. Either way i'm over it and out.

Pro trader tip: If you ask "how much" and they say "offer" just take your wisdom scroll out and move on.

Again.

You guys sounds like Alice in Wonderland.
There's literally NO REASON to ask for a price of an unpriced unique ITEM when there are dozen of the same one (often belonging to the same person) priced on the market.
Literally no reason at all if not trying to be a smart ass.
Today I've played 2 hours.
In those 2 hours I've got, counted, 7 offers for 7 completely different items with nothing to do with each others worth at least 3/4 ex each one, with the very same message: 'pls accept I'm new I need it for my build :(:('
and 3 chromatic, 2 fusing, and garbage like that.
Followed by the good old question: How much?!?!?

And you think I should've answered?

Now given that it's beyond my understanding how a normal IQ person can have fun wasting literally hours of his day playing a Wall street simulator failing 99% of the time I came to the conclusion that the only reason that can push someone to do something like that is RMT.
There must be a team of kids who work for some kind of rmt site that try to make some money in this way, flipping stuff in a ridiculously small market and miserably failing at it.

If you have that attitude "you have no right to offer something on an unpriced item, it's obviously not for sale"

well it's in a public tab, so maybe it is for sale. If you refuse to answer to put a price, then low balls are acceptable in that scenario. You're clogging the market with stuff that isn't for sale and that's just as toxic as the low ballers IMO.
This is the way the trade market on console is set up. There are some weaknesses to it and obviously there are people who will try to take advantage of those weaknesses. You have to deal with it until improvements are made.

It's not against the rules to not price every single item I have in a public stash neither is to send 1 chaos offer for an headhunter, of course.

But I wouldn't have any problem if my Username appear below an unpriced item on the market.
Maybe the 1 chaos offer guy would have some problems sending that kind of offers with his Username displayed instead.

This should tell us something, I guess.

So why are you talking about an attitude which clearly I've stated I don't have?

Anyway, the "clugging the market" part of your reply is actually a real argument and I can see the point, there you're right. So do I when I don't want to be forced to buy others (I have.. how many? 70 stash tab already? Ye probably around 70) stashes or to be forced to order stuff in a way I don't like (like I have all influenced bases I could need in 3 quadruple stash tab, 1 of those 3 is public because there are a few bases priced cause I could sell them, just an example). And for what I remeber there should be a command to filter all the unpriced items from the research. Don't know if it works or not because I rarely use the market to buy stuff if not fossils or scarabs.

But I only play Standard, and the market as clugged as you want, it's small. In each category of the market you won't have more than 20/30 pages.

Anyway I made my point clear.
Don't really want to keep going on this discussion.

Probably as Ross_102 has written

We should try to do our best to make the place healthier for everyone. Spamming ridicolous offers all day long it is not healthier for you nor for the community.

Peace&love

It won't stop people to do that.
If you went thorough my post history you probably saw I have a mirror service topic.
Well of all those items a few are displayed on the market with b/o 1 mirror (the others not because I'm using those items on my chars).

And what do you think? I don't get offers 1chaos for those items as well? Or the mythic "How much?!?!" question?
On an item priced 1 mirror.

The thing is that you guys are making arguments based on how you behave, which I guess is like all normal people behave.
But you all seems to miss the point that 95% of the time people who are sending offers on unpriced items are not like you, they are just people looking for someone to fool, waiting for an error, begging for something pretending they are new and trying being smartasses in general.
Just like the screenshots I've posted before clearly shown.

The crude all or nothing design of the stash tabs is the source of the problem. Players should have the option to select which items they want to make public and which they do not want to sell. But POE is a free game and GGG wants you to buy more tabs. But in the grand scheme of things stash tabs are cheap. Buy another and don't make it public. Put all your super sexy items in it. Problem goes away.

Ya i didnt take the time to look at them sorry. Anyways good luck!
I always raise the price or refuse to sell at all when ppl lowball one of my good items (wich are fairly priced) I hate haggling. In my culture it's disrespectful.

This anyoing shit should be punished hard. Why are Prophecy count as Currency anyway? Once they almost tricked me :P

What i do when i see someone starting to do that is to put the most valuable Items (excalts, mirror , awakener etc) in a Privat box.

Imo there are bigger issues in the game then this. Its annoxing but you can fix it yourself.
