SCAMMERS EVERYWHERE! Will GGG do Nothing ?!

the point here is that there is ppl trying to offer a Prophecy guided by the "not so clear" information on the offering alert

Is it a 20 chaos offer on my Prophecy ? or a Prophecy on my 20 chaos stack ?

If ppl keep trying to send Prophecies everyday, it means (at least for me) that in a given time (1/100 ?) they succeded. Ppl misunderstood the offer and accepted.

Its a kind of scamm because the ppl offering a Prophecy has full knowledge that its worth nothing, trying to get something of valor.

If IRL 1 dude asks other person : "Hey, would you trade your 100 bill for my 1 bill?", and somehow the bills itself have measleading information.. it's a scamm IMO. 1 of those dude have a very clear evil intention

GGG have the logs of ppl trying that repeatedly... ban
thats it

Best thing about console trading is that i can offer something to non priced items.. what makes you think it's not for sale? how do you know they 1) cant be bothered to price 2) dont know what to price it at.

With plenty of headhunter on the market they need to offer on my unpriced one? What for? Trying to fool someone?

I have 4 starforge for sale with ranged price depending on the rolls.. But guess what? The Starforge who gets most of the offers is the fifth one, the unpriced one.

People can offer on un unpriced items, they have all the rights to do so, so do I to not even bother answer them :)

I'm collecting screenshot of the most hilarious ones, one day I'll post them all :p

If I can give you a few advices:

1) when someone send an offer for an UNPRICED item, reject once, if he insist asking for a price or whatever, do not answer neither reject. Keep the offer there. I have an offer of 2 ex for my Headhunter there since maybe a week, its hilarious :D (yes when the offer withdraw after 48h the guy resend it. Who cares..?
2) never, ever, start to "chat" with these people, let them waste their time, do not waste yours.
3) Not answering makes them going crazy: a guy offered 5ex and some chaos for my 3 mirrors, I've rejected once, he kept offering asking me for a price.. Not getting answers he kept sending the offer with more and more question marks evetytime lol
4) don't get bothered by those offers just think about it:
Behind those offers there's a guy who is literally wasting his time on the most boring thing of the game, getting reject 99/100 and not earning a single penny from it. In the meantime you're playing the game, having fun and becoming richer and richer.
5) Lastly, don't fall for those no-shame-people who send you ridiculous offers accompanied by sentences like:
- pls is the last item for finishing my build :( :(
- pls I'm at quarantine show me some sympathy :( :(
And stuff like that.
Just feel sorry for them, begging on a videogame.

All these problems will vanish the day GGG will get rid of anonimity.

To the first point, why would you reject an offer of an unprecedented item without an offer of your own???
Your just losing an opportunity to make money. If the offer is actually reasonable, reject with your own offer and maybe even set a price for the item. It’s also really annoying for people to reject the item you want and you have to keep guessing how much they want. Especially on console where it’s really hard to find the exact item you want due to shitty trade filtering, and a low player count

Because if I want to sell that item, I'll price it.
If I don't price it, I don't want to sell it. As simple as that.
Sometimes if the offer is reasonable, and if the item is not a unique (that you can find plenty priced on the market) but a particular rare item, I waste a few second answering "Not for Sale" .
But seen that 95% of the time who offers for an unpriced item is just looking for some kind of (imaginary) profit...

Personally i feel that if a seller has an unpriced item up, and a buyer asks "How much" and the seller rejects or doesnt respond, then the seller is the one responsible for any time wasted, and not the other way around.

Some people just need the attention. That whole "look at me Mom" personality trait.

I never bother sending an offer for anything. I will always opt to ask "How much" and if i get rejected or if it sits up there for more than an hour, i just move on. I figure the person is fishing for the attention or that they are too scared to give a price for fear it wont be accurate enough. Either way i'm over it and out.

Pro trader tip: If you ask "how much" and they say "offer" just take your wisdom scroll out and move on.

You could always put 999ex on the item as well, so that people dont waste their time to begin with. I mean you will miss out on some funny screenshots from all those 1c offers, but for the legitimate people looking for an item for a fair price, you would be doing them a solid and not wasting their time. No matter how you slice it it is exactly what you are doing by not placing a price on an item you have no intention of selling.

Again.
I have 3 starforge priced on the market.
The one which gets offers on is the fourth, the one not priced. And you think I should answer an "how much?!?!" question? Lol

You guys sounds like Alice in Wonderland.
There's literally NO REASON to ask for a price of an unpriced unique ITEM when there are dozen of the same one (often belonging to the same person) priced on the market.
Literally no reason at all if not trying to be a smart ass.
Today I've played 2 hours.
In those 2 hours I've got, counted, 7 offers for 7 completely different items with nothing to do with each others worth at least 3/4 ex each one, with the very same message: 'pls accept I'm new I need it for my build :(:('
and 3 chromatic, 2 fusing, and garbage like that.
Followed by the good old question: How much?!?!?

And you think I should've answered?

Now given that it's beyond my understanding how a normal IQ person can have fun wasting literally hours of his day playing a Wall street simulator failing 99% of the time I came to the conclusion that the only reason that can push someone to do something like that is RMT.
There must be a team of kids who work for some kind of rmt site that try to make some money in this way, flipping stuff in a ridiculously small market and miserably failing at it.

Why no price on all of them? For what reason? I mean i know, but id like you to say why it is that you have priced them all, save one. It might help

Why should I answer to these Headhunter's offers when there are, at the moment of writing, 4 of them priced on the market for very reasonable prices ranging from 85ex to 140ex?
Of course I won't. They can rotten there forever for me.

Why should I answer a 1chaos offer for a triple t1 suffixes legacy double curse ring?
Of course I won't. It can rotten there forever for me.

Why Should I answer to this offer sent for my UNPRICED Brass Dome if I Have LITERALLY 7 of them priced on the Market?
Of course I won't. It can rotten there forever for me.

As you can see all those offers are at the moment in my trade form all together.
The Shade of Solaris is an: How MUCH!?!??!!? which is the second offers he sent after the first: 3chaos. You start with 3 chaos? I won't answer any qestion regarding that item :)

Hope I made my point clearer ;)

p.s.
I'm not bothered by those kind of offers. I'm not bothered because I dont even reject, let alone answer ;) In my sparetime I rather play the actual game that wasting even only a second with these bullshits.

I guess i kind of see your point on this though. Its like all those dickheads looking to buy a used Toyota blah bla blah, going from lot to lot, when they can see plain as day that the dealer across the street has 3 of them for 9 grand. I mean how fugging dumb right?
