Thanks Wrecker, I figured out what I was doing wrong (eventually).

One other question. I saw your quick guide as to which way to progress through the passive tree - which says start with East side.

I can see the first two nodes are really good, but Hex Master... well, I can't see why I'd need it until later on.

So I went East to get Grave Intentions and Ravenous Horde, then up through Lord of the Dead and Cruel Prep to barrel up westward to Minion Instability.

This has been pretty powerful so far, now I'm trying to figure out my next move and I cannot see a good case for going back Eastwards - unless HexMaster is more powerful than I think it is?

Any thoughts much appreciated. Great build so far - and its the third build I tried, so thanks :)
Hey SpontaneousCombustion!

I personaly like the setup because Enfeeble is our only damage mitigation. Hex Master does have it's value for Enfeeble. Enfeeble gets cast so it does take advantage of the 95% increased duration and the 40% increased AoE. I primarily went that route to get the 10% increased Curse Effectiveness. So if you're finding that Enfeeble is protecting you enough as is, you could take those 8 nodes somewhere else for sure. Just make sure you get some life out of it as you'll lose 12% increased life getting rid of those 8 nodes. Good eye.

And thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself :)!

Ok so when I did the Library quest and went to buy the gems, Temporal Chains was not for sale from Clarissa.

The wiki says witches don't get offered it. What do I do?
It's Siosa that sells the gems that Clarissa does not. So you should be able to get Temporal Chains from him. He doesn't take from your inventory though. So you'll have to bring the currency with you to buy it.

does higher Awakening lvl make it harder to fight the map bosses and the Conquerors or just Sirus?
Hey Kingx!

As far as I understand it, because the endgame has been modified a few times, Awakening Levels make all atlas content harder. But I couldn't find the source of that comment. So I'm not 100% sure.

What does Pantheon use?
Hey SocietyAgent!

You can use any Pantheon you want. This build doesn't "need" any. So pick the ones that suit your style the most. I prefer the ones that give physical damage mitigation.

Sorry, another possible nooby question incoming. At the bottom of the Gem Links section it says this:

"Remember that you won't be applying both curses until you have unlocked the ability (from the tree and ascendancy) to have 2 total curses applied on an enemy."

But - I can't see anything that affects curses in the Ascendancies we take.
(I'm wondering if that's a left-over from an older version of the guide, when the trees were different?)

And in the passive tree, am I right in thinking that all we need for 2 curses is Whispers of Doom (up at the north end)?
Ask as many questions as you like SpontaneousCombustion. It's better to know than not :).

Every character you play has a default limit to being able to apply one curse on an enemy at a time. So to get the ability to apply a second curse on an enemy, we select Whispers of Doom on the tree. (I'll remove "Ascendancy" from the description. I wonder how many leagues it's been there...the Necro has never had the ability to gain an extra curse.)

Thanks for the heads up!

No problem! thank's for your input. Picked up a clayshaper which allows another golem until i find a +minion dmg wand.

Was wondering if you had any insight on what cluster gem node to pickup if any yet? found a decent one with + minion damage.
Hey acidytrips!

The thing about those jewels is that they are as random as any other item. So you have to make the choices as the jewels drop. That looks like a lot of minion damage! So I'd sacrifice some of the minion damage nodes on the tree if plan to use it. Some of the minion damage nodes on the tree also have other perks, so make sure you're not picking too quickly.

I'm sorry I don't have an exact answer for you. It's just the nature of the jewels. Sorry.

Hi all, it's cool to see this build alive for the current league.

My previous Slow-Mo Witch in SSF HardCore was slayed at level 81 by an architect with saw blades during an Alva encounter (and by my stupidity at shield charging to death, I know, it's not part of the build).

Usually I search a new build at every character, but this one is so cool that I have restarted a new Slow-Mo Zombies Witch in SSF Hardcore Delirium League.

I would like to see some alternatives to apply curse and other utilities. While leveling, I've used 2 Diabolist Spectres to apply enfeeble curse and it seems to work well (most often than CwdT). This build invest a lot in minions life, so support Spectres could cost only 1 or 2 gems to work.

I'm impatient to read more advice for this build about the current league, the quality of this forum thread is one of the big plus of this build, thanks WoD ;)
Hey PatGniak!

Nice to have you back :). Thanks for such a kind post. I really appreciate. Good luck in HC! So to apply Enfeeble you just want a skill that has a huge reach. Ball Lightning, Greater Multiple Projectiles, Curse on Hit, Enfeeble. Or maybe Wave of Conviction instead of Ball Lightning. I like Purifying Flame as well. Nothing like some sweet Consecrated Ground to help out HC.

What other utilities were you looking to apply?

(Thanks again for the kind post.)

Well i think i'm gonna sacrifice some nodes like you say, i rolled it a few times today and got this

Primordial bond gives 10% increased dmg for each golem 40% increased golem buff effect & 25% golem life

Feasting Fiends gives 10% Minion Life, damage and 0.4% Leech.

Seems like that jewel is around 70% minion damage. I'll let you know how it turns out lol ;)

Resistances low. I think I'm starting to struggle with resistances (and I haven't even finished Act 5 yet so it will get worse when I kill Kitava). My gear is poor because it's mostly been about finding the right sockets, colours and links.

I don't know anything about crafting in this game, so I'm wondering if it's best to use white items and craft resistance mods onto them? Or should I try to get a decent rare and add sockets? Or is there some other way to get decent gear with the right sockets and links on it?

Second problem - The guide says CWDT and Curse On Hit should be available after the Act 4 quest The Eternal Nightmare. I've doe that a while ago, but Siosa is not selling those gems.

Vaal Skeleton. I just found it and it's not what i expected. It has to absorb souls, which means you don't always have skellies on tap. Is the idea to run BOTH Vaal Skels and the normal version? That way you could use normal ones for the usual stuff and save the Vaal version for tough fights.

I'm starting ActV in new league, 1st character, and I'm near 75% for all resist (except chaos).
I use rare items or create them with what I can (orb, essence ...etc.). I choose the right type of item for easily obtain the good colors for socket. 4 blue sockets is nearly impossible for a pure strenght armor : https://siveran.github.io/calc.html

Yes, thats's the idea, normal one for infernal minion bomb, and Vaal for boss or big fight.
