I am in the same situation as you regarding balancing my cooldown and attack speed for slam. But I really do not want to give up my 88 chaos resist so giving up that small cluster jewel is off the table for me, which leaves me without the ability to get 7 Harmony + 2 Eminence (I'll need to go with 6+1 or 5+2).

As a non-PoB expert, would anyone be able to suggest whether it's better to run:

1 Primordial Eminence
6 Primordial Harmony
Ravenous Horde

or

2 Primordial Eminence
5 Primordial Harmony
(and no Ravenous Horde)

i.e. is Ravenous Horde a substantial enough boost that it really should not be missed, or is it less beneficial than a 2nd Primordial Eminence jewel?

(With the 2nd option, there's also the opportunity to anoint another notable like Whispers of Doom for a 2nd curse before getting a high level Awakened Curse-on-Hit gem which is super expensive and I may never realistically get...assuming I'm not missing something and there's no other enabling build feature to get that 2nd curse.)

I'm not sure but I'm testing another option- I dropped redemption in favor of going for sentinel + the jewel socket above it. Makes resistances real easy (although I am down to 4.3k hp, but that's enough to not get exploded with 88 chaos res) and lets me have 88 chaos res and the 2+7.

Interesting - I was looking at that jewel socket too as an option, but is giving up Redemption to keep Ravenous Horde a substantial benefit? Not sure how much we need the 20% accuracy provided by Redemption (or if accuracy even matters at all to rolling slam), compared to the Onslaught benefit and bit more damage we get from Ravenous Horde.

The nice thing about the resists on the tree with the Sentinel path is that we could theoretically gear for more life with the lower need for resists on gear, so should be able to more or less make up for that life difference I'd guess.

Separately: any advice on how to best align play style or skill gem choice to proc the the shock/freeze/ignite from our ascendancies, or otherwise make them as useful to us as possible?
I'll be honest I have literally 0 idea if golems need the 20% accuracy or not, so if it's messing me up, someone let me know and I'll drop some life nodes and take redemption again, lmao.

Edit: POB says I'm at 100% hit with just gravepact and the small nodes- 5% attack speed on redemption probably ain't worth points.

Good to know, thanks! I might try your approach too, seems pretty solid.
How to craft helmet?

Also can someone check my character? I'm playing the wand version with MoM with 4k HP and 2k mana, but it doesn't really seem that tanky.

I see a lot of people playing the dagger version, but I think it's too late for me to switch over.

How do you get 88 chaos res?
With "Cult of Chaos" i only get 86 cr.
Can anyone expalin me why does it so important to have +level in our helm? What does level of support golems gives to us?
Sorry if the answer is in previous pages, English is not my native language and it's hard to read a lot in it :)
Its nice to see level tree ;)

With Divine Flesh (via a Glorious Vanity jewel) (+10% max) and a small cluster jewel passive node called "Born of Chaos" (+3% max).

There is a good summary of it around page 32 of this thread I believe.
