What should I enable in PoB damage configuration to show correct DPS?
Mine only shows 157k dps if I straight import from my profile: https://pastebin.com/zcpLMPau Thanks! |

" I've been getting comfy with the 88 chaos res, but 85 is probably still a good amount, especially if I use those extra points for life nodes. Are there any other notables that I missed on my tree or can I just grab life nodes now? |
If we are using Cold Iron points, does Shaper of Desolation even do anything? Like will it trigger with physical damage only?
P sure it does, and then the shock bonus from the next notable is a big jump.

See on poe.ninja a lot of players using 2 cold iron point instead. That make me wonder which one is better, ur setup or dual cold iron point

" (I am using the Cold Iron Point version) I am in the same situation as you regarding balancing my cooldown and attack speed for slam. But I really do not want to give up my 88 chaos resist so giving up that small cluster jewel is off the table for me, which leaves me without the ability to get 7 Harmony + 2 Eminence (I'll need to go with 6+1 or 5+2). As a non-PoB expert, would anyone be able to suggest whether it's better to run: 1 Primordial Eminence 6 Primordial Harmony Ravenous Horde or 2 Primordial Eminence 5 Primordial Harmony (and no Ravenous Horde) i.e. is Ravenous Horde a substantial enough boost that it really should not be missed, or is it less beneficial than a 2nd Primordial Eminence jewel? (With the 2nd option, there's also the opportunity to anoint another notable like Whispers of Doom for a 2nd curse before getting a high level Awakened Curse-on-Hit gem which is super expensive and I may never realistically get...assuming I'm not missing something and there's no other enabling build feature to get that 2nd curse.) 2nd question for anyone who is wiser than I: is Assassin's Mark the best 2nd curse after Vulnerability with the pure phys build at all, or is Punishment better? Not sure how power charges and crit interact with golems and with the rolling slam. As my first post in this thread, I must say both versions of this build are awesome and great contributions from others along the way! |
Another question: Do we only proc the shock/freeze/ignite from our ascendancies with our Curse-on-Hit skill (or Flame Dash I guess)? Or do our golems actually proc those as well? I realize they're not the best nodes for us but I guess I'm wondering if there's a way via playstyle or skill gem choice to make them more useful.

" In my opinion, if you want to keep the chaos resist cluster jewel, I don't think Ravenous Horde is worth dropping Primordial jewels just to get your attack/CDR aligned with onslaught buff. If you look at Skyscan's forum guide for the CIP version, he actually recommends anointing Golem Commander and skipping Ravenous Horde altogether. This gives you 3 extra passive points for something like Whispers of Doom or more life nodes. Without Ravenous Horde, you should be able to run 6+2 without issues, assuming you don't have too much minion attack speed elsewhere on your tree. " Thank you very much. Also, I should correct my previous post for anyone else who might find this discussion useful: I meant I would need either: 1 Primordial Eminence 7 Primordial Harmony Ravenous Horde or 2 Primordial Eminence 6 Primordial Harmony (and no Ravenous Horde) As a side note, has anyone played around with and without the extra 3% chaos resist? Is the loss in tankiness to elemental damage noticeable? Am I correct in thinking that going from 88% back to 85% resist is like taking 12% to taking 15% damage and effectively increasing damage taken by 25%? It would just seem to me this is a really huge boost (potentially even more considering Soul of Shakari...I'm not sure how it interacts with this math too) especially with how much extra life one would need to make up for that? |
