Can you also get a guide up for crafting the helmet?
As far as I have seen (but I might be wrong), the helmet should be easy: - start with redeemer base, get -cold - awakener hunter - remove unwanted mods and target craft from there The helmet might brick here, because we could get some non-removable mods, but even with the double influenced item starting as white it should be quite easy, or am I missing something? The only attack modifiers we can get are accuracy, global accuracy and warlord's accuracy from strength. The only cold modifiers we can get are cold resistance, -cold and freeze chance. So I'd probably: - aug -> remove add attack until t1/2 accuracy (can only get attack suffixes) - block 1 suffix with any removable mod - craft ailments - go for the guaranteed crit (only prefix we can hit with aug crit) - aug -> remove add defence to get es - aug -> remove cold until -cold I'm pretty sure that will work, but is there any better/cheaper/more efficient way? " I self crafted the amulet, but it can get pretty expensive. Start with a redeemer citrine amulet, then: - shrieking essence of sorrow to get dex - remove any unwanted mods, annul if neccessary - if you hit dex, go back to essence // getting crit multi - craft crit chance with bench - harvest craft aug crit -> can only hit crit multi - if you hit t1 crit multi, remove crit chance with bench - if you don't, remove crit chance with bench, then remove crit with harvest - repeat until you get t1 crit multi At this point you have 2 suffixes: - dex - crit multi Proceed with: - block the third suffix with any bench craft - aug cold x3 At this point, it is very important to know that the two mods we want, cold penetration and cold skill gems are flagged only as cold. All the other mods we can hit with aug cold are also flagged as life, physical or attack. So if you hit +1 gems or cold penetration after your first aug cold x3, remove the unwanted mods by remove life/physical/attack so you can't hit your desired mod. Once you hit your first desired mod, don't use remove/add cold anymore, it could hit your mod! " remove awakened added cold damage from your herald setup. adding support gems to your herald makes it reserve more mana (the awakened added cold damage multiplies the reserved mana by your herald of ice with 1.3). also you need hatred and discipline in your shield with enlighten and the -15% mana reservation. and also don't link your precision to any gem that has "mana multiplier" in its description. |

Is %15 mana reservation on shield mandatory or %10 is okay aswell?

" Just play around in POB and figure out what you need. On a tight budget, there is no need for this mod on the shield. First, its difficult to get high ES rolls with this mod. Second, if you aren't running Ice Nova enchnated helmet (very expensive), you can buy a Herald of Ice reserve helmet for about 1-1.5ex and you are set. " I already crafted a shield with %10 reservation, other mods were way too good so i didnt want to reroll. I was thinknig about herald helm so i think i might go with it. I have a very different and weird problem now. I dont have enough dex to use Cospri :D I've checked so many people and seems like no one is getting dex from any items, am i doing something wrong? |

" For the shield, you will need to compare what you get out of 3L with x2 Aura + Enlightented + 10% mana res compared to a 4L with x3 Aura and Enlightened support. If the latter is better, then the mod has no value. You can easily check this on pob. I get my Dexterity from the Alacrity +30 node and Amulet +94. I can probably just craft dexterity/qual on my shield and free up a skill point. OP gets their dexterity from their Amulet +94 and crafted Dexterity +25 on their ring. Switched over to this from a golementalist, and although I'm still in a 5 link coc, it's definitely a lot more fun. Thanks for the build.
This is probably a stupid question and I'm sure I'm missing something silly, but when I load up your POB builds (or try to make similar ones), it lists attack and spell block at only 38-40%. Is there something that is doubling that to 75/75? Or do I just have a setting wrong in POB? |
