I'm really struggling with this even on a 4 link. With 6 totems it does so little damage despite iron commander. How do you even scale the damage further without hyrri's demise and fractal thoughts? Is leveling with it simply impossible?


POB export - white boots/gloves/chest cause I had it scrapped already.

You pretty much ignored the build as much as you could. No uniques with added damage to attacks, no rain of splinters. Not even one lab lol

I didn't come here to rain on your parade, but as expected from a fresh start in a new league that was all gear I had on day one. As mentioned the white stuff was rare's of course, had some gloves with phys and elemental damage.

Before I made the switch I had the gems I needed already leveled, though the holy flame totem or purifying flame already did tripple the damage with less support gems.

So no advice aside from not having the gear? I don't see which unique's prior 62 could have made a difference. Hyrri's Demise prophecy is over 10c still, I had the bow and enough dex for 2 additional totems, rain of splinters was still too expensive or rather not in stock. It lowers the damage despite providing more projectiles as well. If you need build enabling items, it's not a league starter, is it?

I have leveled hundreds of characters by now and can't remember the last time I struggled as much with making a skill perform. Stacking dex and getting the additional elemental damage in return from specific uniques, I don't see much options to raise said damage a 5 or 6 link aside. The innate damage of the ballista skill is scaling terribly in the lower levels.

I probably would not have been able to kill Izaro with this, even if I kited him all day long. It doesn't matter, just expected a different attitude from someone I subbed.
