When mapping with arc it sometimes feels like its lacking some damage. That's why I thought about switching and just using the Ball lightning setup for maps, even if it is a bit slower than using arc.

Started this character yesterday and happy to receive any recommendations of where I can improve survivability and speed on gear. I'm leveling my own gems so I wont yet say if my damage needs improving, I assume it wont since this build is ridiculous so for the time ebing im focusing on clear and move speed and survivability.

Focus on more life on rares and try to make some currency to get an auls with wrath reserves no mana mod. After that you can get a watcher's eye with wrath lightning resistance Penetration. This combo would be a huge boost in ur dps.

Pretty much what he said. But only if you can afford it, the Aul's amulet is not necessary and 10% damage pen amulet with high life and resist will be fine. You can also get open suffix and craft +1 to minimum frenzy charges to amulet.

Yes awakened ele focus and eventually dropping trap and mine damage for awakened added lightning will be superior for damage and smoothness. I dropped Destructive apparatus anoint temporarily to see how much it reduces survivability and it's very clear how much more tanky the build is with it allocated. Born in the Shadows helps a ton as well, but for someone looking to play with max damage Explosives expert is a good choice as well, it gives us 10% more damage pen, 80% crit chance both from skitterbots, and lastly 30% crit multi when Armageddon brand inevitably crits and ignites target.

I answered this in a previous page, I liked steelskin as a self cast and on cwdt since it felt better to me, but on paper immortal call is better for evasion/dodge based build which is not focused on damage mitigation.

Why do we go with Bonechill?

I need to change my gear up to make it easier to get blue sockets, im sturggling to fit everything right now because i cant afford thousands of chromes on this dex gear :/

I just realized I have an i83 Crusader Onyx amulet, I should probably craft Metallic and Pristine on that right?



Keep? Anul and multi mod? Slam? Thoughts?

Bonechill is for 5% more effect of the chill on enemies, but not needed at all.

Highly recommend this method here using the crafting bench to reduce your use of chromes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kXPc8IomRI . It will save you TONS. I would recommend buying an amulet rather than crafting -- usually crafting will be more expensive. If you are hellbent on crafting your own gear, or you are playing SSF, go with https://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Amulet metallic only -it will be the cheapest way. The one you have isn't worth annuling, keep spamming metallic fossil until you get damage pen or +1 lightning gems, 60+ life, and some resist.
