[Archived] Moosseolini's Holy Relics Guardian
Hello,
Could I get some advice on my Templar Guardian build? I am struggling bad in delve at 150 depth and cannot go further down. The build runs ok in maps. I was using Kaom heart but I found the life difference is not that great and losing a lot of clearing power. I am running with: - Astral plate with Life + Nearby enemies are blinded with 3 Flickershaded spectres ( Spectre + Spell echo + Anomalous Reckoning + Stone golem + Knockback + Melee Physical damage. ) - Zealotery 19/0 + Pride 20/20 + Vitality 19/20 + War banner 20/0 - Cyclone activation in a culling glove. - CWDT level 6 + Molten shell + hydrosphere + Flame dash in boots. - Life and +1 intelligence amulet - Endurance charge in both rings so 2 charges up at all time. - Watcher eyes with zealotery + life recovery + chance to impale on hit. Anomalous holy relic 21/20 + Controlled destruction ( 21//20 ) + Predator 19/20 + Awakened Minion damage 5/12 + Brutality 20/20 + Empower 3 in staff 6.186 life with Blinded body armor or 7230 life with Kaom heart ( but loose Spectre + Stone golem support ) Fire 76/118 Cold 75/160 lightning 75/90 Chaos 80/90 Thank you. " Do u have POB-link? It's better to see full stats cause the build is sensetive for some simple thing like your attack speed Is your question about lack of dmg? |

" 1. Fix your activation. Your current attack rate following PoB is 6.36, but you´re skill cooldown of relics is 0.43. So to be closer to optimizing it you would need to be ideally on 6.9 attack rate, equaling to 3 / 6,9 = 0.435 so far closer to your optimum activation speed. 2. Ignoring 1st for a second, you should get your hands on divergent summon holy relic for maximizing dps and take above mentioned numbers with a grain of salt and calculate them anew for the new breakpoint. 3. predator can be 21/22 for more punch, controlled destruction has an awakened variant. 4. geoffrys + kaoms heart can use a good corruption/double corruption 5. Stygian vise instead of leather belt for an additional abyss jewel 6. Bottled Faigh instead of the second life flask for more dps |

1. Have a bit of a hard time understanding how you calculate that but i will try to learn 2 I have 20/20 divergent Holy relic. Trying to get a 21/20 wich doesn´t seem to bit easy :) 3. Bought a 21/20 Predator and a Level 6 Awakened Controlled Destruction now 4. Will look into that to 5. Gonna try to get a Stygian :) 6. Yeah i will buy 1 but man i think they are expensive :P |

Ok I'll try to explain the cd-calculation, but honestly the OP has already a good writedown on it.
When you open Path of Building you'll find the inherent cooldown of Holy Relic in the calculations tab. It is 0.43, so every 0.43 seconds holy relic is able to perform its spell. In order to activate it you need to attack, so in order to maximize the dmg-output you should be attacking at the same rate so there's no wasted cooldown on the relic. A cooldown of 0.43 seconds means that every 0.43+ seconds u should be attacking, and you can get that into the form of attack speed with 1/x while x is the cooldown of the relic. Means: 1/0.43 = 2.325 attacks per second to perfectly proc the relic. You want to be ideally rather a tiny bit slower in order to make sure to not be faster than the relic.so in that case i'd advocate to go for an attacksped of 2.31 aps. Problem: Cyclone is a very fast skill and it is difficult to attack so slowly. Therefore you can go for the alternative and attack twice or three times as fast as the relic to hit it's cooldown on every 2nd or 3rd cyclone-cycle. You would be using the formulas 2/x, 3/x, 4/x. If u check it for 3/0.43 = 6.977,you'll see that with 6.95, or easier, 6.9 you're way closer to maximizing the relic dmg output by just getting closer to their skill cooldown. |

Thanks again, now i understand how that works.
So if i manage to get a staff for example with 9% attack spped on it i will end up with 6.94 APS, i guess that would be pretty close to perfect then |

So I’m really a novice when it comes to POB.
I tried importing my build—SaintOBX IN scourge. Then looked in calc.. Changed the cyclone skill to Summon Holy Relic , and get a skill cooldown of 2.01 s. It appears I’m doing something wrong. I’d like to improve this character if possible and appreciate any help you can give me. Currently the POB is open. I tried to save it, but get an invalid argument. |
