I did mapping for the A8 fight setup. Held off on going for him as I am a bit new to that fight / don't want to carelessly die.

While mapping I did a lot of Niko for easy mine experience (lvl 83 mobs, 170+ depth). Finish off my sulphite, then map again with whatever Niko I had. More mines. Pretty safe for me at least.

I avoided some maps that have bosses I find annoying, like Core or Lava Lake, etc...

Hi, is a thicket bow's quicker attack speed really significant dps difference to say a maraketh bow? i would think the 10% movement speed implicit from maraketh would be better, but anyone here has made the calculation?

That's up to you :) maraketh is good too
but 1.50 * 1.19 is siqnificantly higher than 1.40 * 1.19 imo, but 10% movement speed is also nice.

For the people who are struggling with mana, this kind of amulet is a good compromise.

Love this build, is so fun to play. Just wanted to share my frustration, i spent 1 exalt worth of alt orbs and never even got DOT multi tier 1 once, got attack speed several times but never got a lucky regal.

I'm thinking about just buying the bow already crafted at this point. RIP

Be sure you use lvl 82+ bow, that means porcupine does not qualify as it's lvl 50 thicket. You could have been just that unlucky, but the above could be one reason.

Thats unfortunate. Average odds would suggest you'd see T1 dot multi once every 300 alts or so.

If you want the best odds you should use a thicket bow that's EXACTLY ilvl 82 to keep a few undesirable 83+ mods out of the pool.

Funny thing after reading about it i bought a ilvl82 thicket bow, tried again with 700 alts and got attack speed many times, but didnt regal into DOT multi, still didnt get DOT multi T1 while alt spamming, just gave up and bought a crafted one with 33%Dot multi and 40%chaos dot multi rolls for 8 exalts.

Ended up spending 2 exalts in alts for alt-spamming and 1 exalt on an ilvl82 thicket bow 6L and now i just have the bow there sitting, i guess i will just use it to try to get it every now and then when i amass a good amound of alts of my own looting, but yeah ended up spending well over 2.5 exalts con crafting currency (taking regals and scourings into consideration) and didnt even get the singular dot multi. F my luck.

On the bright side, now my damage improvement is massive with the double dot multi bow, on to the next upgrade.

Those bows sell between 18-45 ex BTW. The ones with high attack speed and dot multi.
