[3.13] Power Siphon/Kinetic Blast Poison Assassin - Very fast and tanky poison wander

Just wana say thanks for a great build. I deff didnt max it anywhere near where i should have but even with this PB i killed Sirus8 deathless and Uber Elder 1 death

followed tree patchfinder and have 1 question why i dont have boss dmg ? seriously its terrible
clear its fine with kb but t 13 boss its shit
I'm pleased to see a sc 40 has that question...

Yeah sadly, as other people already pointed out Assassin is the way, Pathfinder just does not have enough damage.

Announcement:

I really neglected this build since I made it as I do not really had time to "fix" it. But I spent few days in PoB messing with different setups and I will be updating the build and recording some vids later. The core changes will be:

1. The build will switch to Assassin and Pathfinder version will be discarded or provided as alternative (I will need to message support to move the build to Shadow section of the forum)
2. For survivability and sustain, the plan is to utilize LGoH and MGoH because those 2 are pretty busted with our hitrate
3. I will add endgame section with some major gear upgrades the build should aim for. Some of them are:
- Golden Rule + Malevolence Watcher's Eye with Poison immunity - with our absurd hit rate this can stack really a lot of poisons for Noxious Strike and also caps us on chaos res easily
- Explody Chest - When I was creating this build, I didnt knew we will get explody back, this is another argument why Ass is even more viable and this makes the clear pretty insane in endgame

Its fine, I am playing on Linux so my recording is quite terrible. But I am trying GeForce NOW now and I will be recording new vids on it soon.

Tower is using more tanky-focused setup and in Shore vid I tried stacking a bit more movement speed and just running around. I liked the feel of running around a lot more.

Big build update:

- Reworked the guide for assassin
- Changed trees from Pathfinder to Assassin

How would you add in Spell Slinger? I mean ED, Contagion, Bane, Soulrend might be options. A wand with added chaos and %increased chaos damage would benefit all of them and our poisons.

Blade Vortex is probably the best option on paper. 90% of the scaling in this build works on Blade Vortex, but there are a couple issues. The big one you'll miss is the delve mod on the weapon, since spells do not count as inflicting a poison "with" that weapon.

Spellslinger CD is 0.5s without any CDR, so it may not feel good to maintain BV stacks with it. If you're socketing it in 6L you can probably use Unleash like self-cast setups? But then you make one of the other problems worse: the mana reservation.

Looking at the multipliers for the poison supports the numbers aren't as bad as I would have thought. It looks like you could 6L BV with around 35-45% reservation. That still means you're missing out on a significant aura. But based off my napkin math (and wild baseless assumptions about the numbers on Spellslinger), socketing BV in The Embalmer or gloves with level 20 Poison instead of Kinetic Blast will give BV about 1/3 or 1/2 the damage of the 6L Power Siphon. That's pretty good.

With Plaguebearer and an explosion chest, clear shouldn't feel bad without KB assuming it's not too hard to stack BV. And it should be a nice boost to single target.

One thing I ignored in my numbers was Assassin's poison duration scaling. With BV and Power Siphon Barrage you're going to be stacking a lot more poisons recently and get a lot more duration out of it, so there's an extra scaling factor to using Spellslinger. It also has potential if you can find hybrid Life Gain on Hit mods, like on the Vitality Watcher's Eye.

There's definitely some nice potential to working it into the wand build, but it's hard to really know how much until we see the numbers and feel the gem in action. It's also a little disappointing that the Wand requirement means you only get one 6L, so a true hybrid build is kind of tough to do since you'll always have and uneven number of supports on your skills.
