Endless Misery (Discharge jewel):
With at least 40 Intelligence in Radius, Discharge Cooldown is 250 ms

So it is max 4 Discharges per second, no way around it.


By the way, i got my lifeleech Devotion.
Best 88c i invested so far!
Now i am saving up for my 6L Protector but the build is already working like a charm.

I'm glad the cooldown is fixed. Allows for smoother charge buildup and no investment into cooldown recovery is nice.

Now the real end goal will be getting a good corrupt on a +1 endurance anointed volls devotion. Is elemental leech the best corruption? +1 curse seems less important.

Been using this
as a swap for volls protector and its been quite nice,the frenzy on hit is converted to power charge on hit with Templar jewel.

Edit - is it more dps to add +1 curse anoint over +1 endurance for permanent ele weakness and assassins mark uptime?

So I saw your earlier post. Getting good Precusor Emblems is hard on PC as well, since they are really expensive. Ideally, you'd want +1 Power Charge and chance to gian up to max power charges instead of just one.

Your gear is really nice, but you should swap your auras to your shield, since you have the 15% reduced mana reservation mod there. Then you might be able to use something like Herald of Ice as well, for a little extra boost, or just War banner for 100% damage for bossing.

To your question about +1 curse vs. +1 endurance charge. I did try some PoB shenanigans and both add roughly 500k damage, so it doesn't really matter which one you'd go for.

I was solving my leeching purely through Atziri's Promise, since I had almost 50% of ele as extra chaos, so I had a lot of chaos damage leeched as life from Atziri's promise. Yes, the amulet corruption is nice, BiS probably for survivability, sadly you can't annoint +1 endurance charge after corruption.

Does disorienting display proc when discharge goes off when its casted through CoC? That seems silly if it does.

3.12 nuked CoC discharge hard unfortunately. Hopped on my standard char and tested a few things -- the damage is still OK, but nerfed overall. The ceiling is lowered with no way of raising because CDR is quite simply the most efficient and most valuable mod for any trigger build (3 mod slots - gem, boots, belt that are worth 50-100% more damage), and that avenue of scaling is completely dead. Other avenues of scaling do not compare.

The biggest issue however, is the AoE. The 60% penalty hits all of our AoE sources -- the discharge base radius, the discharge bonus aoe per charge, tree AoE, jewel AoE, gem AoE, etc... results in an AoE that is about as large as our cycloen with investment. If you put in conc effect or don't use increased AoE, the AoE of discharge with endless misery is about equivalent to unarmed cyclone before they buffed both cyclone and unarmed AoE lol.

Makes me sad because these types of discharge builds were by far my favorite, but there's no reason to sugarcoat these things. The AoE is significantly neutered relative to 3.11 and the damage ceiling is lowered quite a bit, though floor damage is still strong if not better.
