I did some tests again with 6.9 APS and even below 5 APS with a warden's brand ring and I saw even worse results.
My experience so far is that above 8 APS the results are better, but we need the Mat Guys to give us a precise APS for perfect optimization.

That's really weird, since if you look at my latest video (from 3.12 against Shaper) that's where I have 6.9aps and I am discharging without problems.

Hello! Yes, it definitely can. Anything that has some decent attack speed and crit works for leveling if you decide to level on CoC setup.

These are the 2, that I have socketed in the big one. I wasn't using Cluster Jewels before, since the guide was properly updated during 3.8.

Gotta agree, i like the build a lot too.
Discharge has always been my favourite gem, i did like the old animation most though :P

Now about my life leech issue:
The only viable option i found so far was a corrupted Voll's Devotion with 0.5% Lightning Damage leeched as Life.
Seen some on Heist for about 100-120c, so thats what i am probably going for as soon as i got the currency.

Since the cooldown of discharge can't be bypassed with the threshold jewel being a fixed rate, there's no point of cdr gear right?

Edit - I saw your replies and you answered this question. I still need to change my tree a bit but I'm playing this build on console on standard with harvest gear and its a lot of fun! Sadly getting good precursor emblems is nearly impossible on console.
