Bro, if you got solid way to deal with groups, and using you 6-link only for bossing and tough mobs, why dont you use viper strike instead of blade flurry? In POB it shows almost twice as much DPS, and with recent buffs its just super good. Or im missing something, and bf is better anyways?

Looking at your Path of Building build...
Your 6L BF socket group has 8 gems. Supposedly, the Vile Toxins gem is an implied part of Embalmer, but that still leaves 7 gems. The 5L Cobra Lash socket group has, well, 5 gems - despite the fact you've said many times this will be 4L. What's the extra gem? There's a bunch of socket groups you don't mention in your original post. If the extra gems are alternatives, it'd be nice to know which you'd prioritize. " They are not checked, so they are not used. Swift Afflication for example is a good alternative early on on a 6L. Sometimes i leave extra gems for people to experiment, if they want. https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

Question for pierce on CL, does the projectile piercing and not bouncing between targets still give us the bonus damage of unused chains? I'm at a pretty early level right now and it feels better for me to not have pierce and just bounce the CL in packs, but I can definitely see where with GMP and later mapping that piercing would feel better.
