They indeed changed summoning quite a bit, desecrate isn't as important anymore as stated, just the level of your spectres gem.
Also you don't need to go that person's delve to get the stone flayer, I often invite ppl and you can just desecrate them in my hideout. /Edit/ To the above person, I agree. " Pierce is more AOE, I wouldn't recommend dropping it if you're mapping a lot. I always use Pierce because I'm 2/2/2 and I have deathmark for single Target. I do still have an awakened viscious projectiles and haven't decided yet what to do with it. Maybe I'll end up buying a perfect color corrupted skin sometimes, but on the other hand I'd really miss deathmark for bossing. |

thanks for the help, spectre summoning always confused the shit out of me since they changed it alot in the past.
Might have another question. The spectres are your "meatshield" HoA does the job in killing stuff. Im just not quite sure how to trigger him correctly? Ball lightning seems to do the job, but its one projectile and feels clunky to use. Do you spam Connvocation on a enemy pack to prog HoA through your wand craft? " Really hope some of the skeleton users can record a video or two, ideally on repeatable, static map. Or if they can beat Uber Elder or Sirus 8 in comparable time as CTSabba. And yes it is driving me crazy. Equal minion level, same boss, skeleton at least for me, can not kill boss NEARLY as fast as Herald of Agony, despite MUCH higher POB number. I spent quite a bit of currency to mess around already. It is not something that can be made up by a 10-15% passive adjustment either. My only explanation for this is tail spike hits multiple times on the same boss so the Herald of Agony damage is way higher than POB number. Or maybe ranged chaos damage is OP vs bosses compared to melee physical? Frankly I haven't seen even glass cannon builds beat CTSabba time in the video section meaningfully. " I spam convocation on normal key, it's not triggered through my wand. Also ball lightning might seem clunky at first but it's actually pretty damn good. It hits multiple times for a single cast, even on small packs you instantly get stacked all the way to 40. Since it's semi slow it moves on for quite a bit which is nice since it'll keep hitting enemies. It has a huge hitbox really. Also I'm on for spectres for a little bit if anyone needs them., gonna exchange some currency. |

UPDATE in Delve: Just hit 1400.
Spectres started to got slain around 1250, so I decided to use 4-link spectre. I gave up one aura (war banner) and put auras (3 link: hatred - generosity - enlighten) in the shield, and use glove 4-link for the spectre. Additionally, I bought "+1 socketed gem" corrupted glove, so that I can get lv28 spectre gem (raise spectre - empower support - meat shield - feeding frenzy). Not bullet-proof, but strong enough for most nodes. Since I gave up one aura, I decided to change the helmet enchant from "hatred mana reservation" to "sprit offering" to compensate DPS. The most challenge in this depth is projectiles.. block works well for melee and spell damages, but projectiles are really a problem. I want to use frost wall but no more socket.. I feel that delve is much more difficult than the last league and maybe that's why Juggs are still under 1000 at this moment. Hi What can I change to make my summon skeletons deal more/better damage on bosses? I have like 2/3x the POB damage of HoA but some bosses time take way too much time for such numbers. My friends Toxic Rain char +/- 4M DPS kills a map boss in a few sec, on the same map im killing it in like a 40 - 60 sec or more. I rly like the summon skely variant coz of 2700 more ES and The Vigil for 40sec Fortify but the damage seems odd for such POB numbers. I know im using impale set up but normal Melee dmg + Ruthless seems to be same (2b+0g+4r) TY for any help i also have my old agony items

" Congratulations! I think you are far and away the #1 delver this league outside of ultra offensive / zero defense builds. Thank you so much for beating the raider herald of agony in this area :) Fortify nerf kind of killed Juggernaut delving. They had 5000 HP 99% damage reduction before. Even 90% damage reduction kills their build. Unfortunately with guardian hitting #4 in presentation, I feel we will see nerfs next league for sure. So this is likely the peak of our build's power. Try Flesh and Stone which counters projectiles well. Also minion life instead of empower I believe will get your Spectres to 300K health. The power is spirit offering healing every 4 seconds for 20% life. Just some ideas, not sure how well they work in practice, since you are way ahead of me.
