Wondering how this build compared to the exanguinate/seismic trap build? Have you experienced both and what do you think are the pros and cons for this build in comparison?
How hard is it to make this work in SSF? What do I need before I start?

Cons:
- Map-Clear and actually boss damage as well is on a medium to end budget higher with seismic/exsanguinate, as exsanguinate is a brutal clearspell.
- Expensive build
- Transition into low-life can feel clunky and low on survivability
- no cool mtx

Pros:
- pretty much the best endgame build I´ve ever played on the high-end
- A LOT tankier than any classic trapper/miner
- still not really that meta, so esp. weapons can be quite cheap
- a lot of endgame optimization potential

You would classicly start with a high-ES chaos inoculation variant, where you are pretty free in terms of gear-choice as we barely have any mandatory items aside from the amulet and the chest. Those are indeed big keystones, so farming tower and chayula-breaches is demanded later.

Generally, if you feel like getting yourself into ssf in general you can do it, its nothing for me though.

Haven't had time to proper sit down with it yet, but just from watching the live-stream, big WOW! 3.16 will be as hyped as I predicted!

Also ... holy fuck? :D I don't see any nerf to thread of hope and with the new mastery system and the significant amount of notables we usually grab through 1 thread of hope...if they didn't mess with the actual location of these notables..... seems it'll be insaaaane with the new mastery system... literally mega overpowered if it works that way for us...

Blind getting nerfed seems okay, as every other defense is getting buffed + they talked about adding more access to life regen on gear... which we equal to ES regen:) Also for whatever effectiveness blind will still have to us, it's increased to 15% reduction instead of 10%.

The ES buffs seem big of course and will probably help early game survival before you're max'ing your gear + leveling with evasion gear with the new blind mechanic seems strong, before you switch/can afford going full ES.
Also ES itself being buffed via the base types AND skills on the poe-tree sounds biiig.
(--increasing the strength of all Energy Shield base types. Add more Energy Shield to the passive skill tree.)

I just want POB to update the skilltree so we can mess around!

If anyone caught anything that may be hugeely detrimental lmk, otherwise i'll have some time this sunday to go over things more thoroughly :)

Bex on reddit "Thread of Hope and Intuitive Leap won't give access to the Mastery of that cluster. You need a full path to the Mastery to access it."

And also from patch notes
'Problem
The tree is very compact, making it hard to easily view and leaving little space for rearranging clusters.

Solution
Spread out the entirety of the passive tree, and increase the radius of small, medium, large and very-large jewels. This is done to give a relatively equivalent but not identical effect of radius jewels on the tree. This will have impacted all Radius jewels in different ways.'

I want to see skill tree and see how it will workout for us :D.
With new mastery system kill all bandits probably will be the best choice

From the screenshots of the tree that have been provided, you cannot seem to be able to grab the big INT node anymore with the thread of hope.

Obvious issues are:

1) Tempest shield now has reservation. This might be an issue since it is harder to reach 75% chance to block without it.

2) We might be unable to run all mana/life reserve skills (depends on exact numbers).

3) Born in shadows blind miss chance reduced from 50% to 20% and now reduces evasion of affected mobs (which we don't benefit from); but buffed to take less damage from blinded enemies from 10% to 15%.

To add on 1 and 2:

wrooong. With the stuff we used (aka sovereignity, enlighten, etc) we get more reservation efficiency than before so fitting tempest shield should still be possible. Lets say it is not - I´d 100% drop something else for it, it is so damn strong now, a good fix would be for example going for a recover on block + revervation efficiency shield instead of the spell block we wanted before. Sure, its a high-end solution, but it is a good one in my opinion.

Also given the insane amount that tempest shield provides now (and the fact that it can roll higher values on the shield as well now), I have reached the conclusion that you do not need Mystic bulwark, prodigal perfection and arcane guarding anymore (one of them potentially has a mastery that you would absolutely want to get, so not a given you get rid of the three automatically).

but it has the potential to save 7 points that you can use in masteries across the tree instead and/or take the Influence node with for additional mana reservation. The masteries associated with Influence and Sovereignty will also likely have something touching upon mana reservation. It would be surprising otherwise. Also one of the revealed masteries (for energy shield) is 25% increased reservation efficiency for Discipline for example.

How does this build does in Simulacrum, is it able to farm all the way to the final wave?

Had np completing simulacrums, obviously once you're in your end-game gear. :)

Right now we don't know what the skill-tree will look like, so we're all just waiting, twiddling our thumbs. Kinda ironic they released patch notes 5 days early but then don't release the skill-tree database yet for the pob guys to update from ;D
im having some survival issues... i switched to arcanist brand but my question is...

How should we use Arcanist Brand? Should we keep throwing it at random? Does it increase survival?!

Thanks

Your survival issues stems from leveling your IC combo to 20.
It should be IC lvl 5, CWDT lvl 3 (at most).

You also leveled your wave to 20 even though it's lvl 1 in the guide heh, so you're probably reflect killing yourself often.

Also temper quality your amulet for 220 more ES.

Hope it helps :)
