Yougstroyer: You are right. Destructive apparatus gives max 25% reduce damage taken which is nuts defensive layer againts big hits (still not sure if effect of aura from mines also inc growth - from 2% per mine to 5% - if yes, you are most of time on max numbers).
@beerleague : I see you ended up on GC mines on your heist miner. I tried it out a bit and still did prefer BL for mapping. Am i missing sth or is it personnal preference? IS it because we struggle to get the AOE on the tree when we go LL for BL? Were you just bossing on the miner since you had a mapper aside?

the way i see it, 10% is a capped limit? But each mine now does 5% so it's a 10% dmg reduce, which is still not bad. I may take it early just for the mine throwing speed, but drop it when i get the craft. And my point above was adressing the dps diff between the 2 ascendency more than anth.
Do you guys think UE can be rushed in the first couple of days with this build?

Talking about using a tremor rod + GC mines. Will survivability be an issue?
I noticed in the header you mention SSF. Any tips for someone wanting to tackle this build going SSF? I am assuming staying CI as it may be hard to find a Shavs/prism guardian. Never played a mine build before. Thanks!

- 30% increased Area of Effect

- 8% reduced Area Damage taken from Hits

- 20% reduced Mana Cost of Skills that throw Traps

- 20% reduced Mana Reservation of Skills that throw Mines

- 40% increased Damage if you Detonated Mines Recently

Shavs is actually pretty easy to farm with the cards, but I would stick with CI until that.

It depends what is "very long distance". If they wrote it correctly, source of the damage is mine (not player), and mines are always near or under boss. If u detonate it out of screen, source of dmg is still mine next to boost. But who knows how they meant it, because naming and description sometimes sux.

For ascendancies, i think there is no place to lose Pyromaniac, Explosives expert or Born in the shadows. So there is no possibility to pick Demolitions specialist. On HC pyromaniac is must and born in shadows too. Loosing Explosives expert is huge DPS lost never worth Demolation Specialist node.


BL still has more than enough damage either way, so isnt a huge loss. On SC, losing born isnt too bad.

I was trying to make GC feel good and just couldnt, its a pretty trash skill. I'll have a write up available for the league by tomorrow, but BL is still the way to go.

With BL you can, I wouldnt recommend GC. If you know the fight it wont be too bad
