Looks like Adriano let the cat out of the bag. Specific combinations of Megalomaniacs are excruciatingly rare. For this reason, people in the know were keeping it close to chest to avoid hyperinflation due to surging demand and low supply.
You don't need a single Megalomaniac to do any of the content in the game. The build Adriano and I collaborated on worked just fine for all content. However, for those of you that think you're done after completing the build but still long for something more, can try to obtain the rare Megalomaniacs. They are this league chase item and some are considerably under-priced. It just hasn't caught on quite yet. To the people complaining about 25-40ex each for these (Vicious/Renewal), they are still under-priced at that price. That price will only remain so long as the popularity of Necromancer is low and people remain ignorant to the power of stacking Megalomaniacs. Time for some math: Delirium added 280 new notables. Of which, I think about 273 are eligible for appearance on a Megalomaniac. A Megalomaniac cannot roll duplicates of a notable, therefore the math is pretty easy. We have a classic combinations problem. To obtain 1 specific notable: 273C1 = 273! / (1!(273-1)! = 273 Probability = 1/273 Not so bad eh? To obtain 2 specific notables: 273C2 = 37128 Probability = 1/37128 Getting scary! To obtain 3 specific notables: 273C3 = 3353896 Probability = 1/3,353,896 Yeah,GG. If this item is Renewal/Vicious Bite/Precise Commander, we are talking about 5-10 mirrors. Basically, the seller can write his own price but may not ever be able to sell it in league for it's value. To close, there is no larger contribution to your zombie/minion's DPS than Crit/Crit Multi/Double Damage stacking. If you wish to vaporize all content, bosses included and really min/max the build you should pursue these. However, I point back to the math so that you understand what kind of pursuit this might be. This will not be cheap and will not be possible for very many due to how often a desired two notable Megalomaniac will drop. These are so rare that before I re-rolled from Necromancer to Assassin, I collected a set for myself. Early on, some of these were acquired insanely cheap but select people started to catch on and the prices started to raise and perhaps will continue to do so. |

" About the zombie control, you need Convoke (or Convocation, not sure about the name). Your build is kinda all over the place Imo. You need to allocate Death Attunement in your amulet. Second, I recommend the Shaper gloves that give energy shield per strength. And you could get both better rings easily spending a few chaos just searching in the market. I hope it helps. |

" I've done and update for you with the Timeless jewel and Thread of Hope configured to use those two notables. https://pastebin.com/r6nuRpsu If you are using Host/Carnage chieftains and Merveils retainer then your dps is roughly 800k. if you want more dps then ditch the Gravepact wheel, the Eduring bond wheel and both Righteous Army and Redemption trios and the point next to Ravenous horde. That should give you around 15 points to play with and get yourself another cluster jewel setup either top left of witch or bottom right of Iron Grip. Ideally you want similar to the cluster jewel you already have, especially Vicious Bite and Renewal, you could then add some split personality jewels and get extra life/str or go with more dps medium sized cluster jewels or even Megalomaniac jewels if you have the currency. |

Currently have the following Cluster Jewel set up and seeking advice...
Large = Rotten Claws, Vicious Bite, and Renewal (1 jewel slot) Medium = Renewal and Hulking Corpses (1 jewel slot) Small = Wall of Muscle Going to buy the same Large Cluster but with 2 jewel slots but have NO IDEA what passives I should be looking for in the next medium/small setup. Any suggestions please? I'm guess I need to stick to another Wall of Muscle for a small cluster but what about the Medium? Thanks! |

" Deffinately check out the megalomaniac unique jewel it can roll vicious bite and rotten claws (potentially both) but those can be pricey depending on rolls.. And also look at the notable enduring composure that can also roll on it also it adds a bit of survivability if you use immortal call/cwdt. Is alot of interesting combinations that can be done in particular with 2 slot large cluster jewels. The minion specific ones are pricey but you can find plenty of other useful ones See previous posts in this thread about the jewel, or search the thread for it. |

Hi guys,
Having a difficult time increasing my DPS to enough so that I can comfortably do Sirius awakened 8 and Uber Elder. This is my pastbin: https://pastebin.com/0GVPfQ7t and below are my items. My thread is giving cruel prep and ravenous horde. My elegant Hubris is giving 240% minion damage and 80% armour (as it was only 1 node away). I'm just not sure what I can really do to actually increase the DPS significantly so that I can do the bosses. Thank you in advance for any assistance. |
