Console countdown timer pushed back 3 days disappointment

"
+1 To all of this. I just love this thread.

Careful now, you don't want to be white knighted

Typical internet buffoon:

Buffoon: This thing is wrong!
Internet: Nope, it's XYZ, explains it multiple ways why
Buffoon: Doubles down and starts calling people white knights( probably something-phobic in the next few posts) to "strengthen" their argument

This guy is never gonna admit a mistake and will probably start writing a letter to his local political holding about how the countdown timer was never explicitly labeling it as the PC timer and that GGG should go on TV and apologise for misleading an internet buffoon.

How many countdown timers are there? I am only aware of the one, on the main page (for PC, but not labelled as such, and now gone). Is there another? Perhaps it is for PS only, or tied to having a paid subscription (I do not have Gold and so I would not see it if this was the case).

As I have said multiple times. When you open up the game on playstation a countdown clock appears prior to going to your character selection screen. Nothing to do with any website or anythingelse. A countdown clock on the start screen of the ps4 console version. This clock originally for a month counted down to the PC release date then when getting to sept 6th was changed to countdown to sept 9th.

And it is still there counting down to console launch. Maybe xbox doesnt have it and that's why all these incredibly smart posters haven't been able to comprehend what I have stated over and over

No one has explained anything. Never did I say I was explicitly upset with the launch not being the same day as PC or card about the 3 days etc. I dont care when the launch was.

The issue has always been a countdown clock. It was incorrect on the ps4. No way should a countdown clock start when you open a game on a console that is actually for PC release. That's ameture hour. For a month every time you opened poe to play on the ps4 it was counting down to the wrong date.

Note I also didn't ask for an apology as you are so focused on. I said "apology or explanation"

I really cant understand how you are all so dense as to not realize what I have said 5 times. Also I would challenge anyone to show me something that said legion was releasing for console the 9th prior to the 5th when the countdown clock on the ps4 was changed.

I honestly think it it was intentional. How as soon as the PC one ended it rolled right over to the console version. Even if it wasn't though, I just found it funny.

I got on the game when there was like 12 days left and thought "No way, is this actually the console date", then went right to the site to check if it was. I saw it wasn't and it turned into an "Awww, dicks" moment. Then didn't think anything of it after that.

It seems like a pretty pointless thing to be bothered by. It's not like he timer affects when it releases.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

The timer built expectation for people that didnt take the extra step of going to the forums. Also I didn't see anything on here that gave a console release date until the 5th. I would be interested to see that.

Check literally any league announcement and you'll see it.

Edit: Somehow you'll see it got cut off.

Yeah, I can't do that. It definitely gets removed after leagues launch on PC. They set the clocks in the announcements to change on their own based on your time zone, and apparently disappear after PC launches.

There's no times in any of the announcements anymore.

This is a silly thread. I just wish they had a countdown timer on Xbox. That would be nice. Good luck out there. Let's see how long I can maintain my calm demeanor in SSFHC before ragequitting due to lag and desync deaths.
