does anyone have a video with tailwind/elusive boots?

i rly wanna compare the speed vs stampede

also for people using spell cascade, how do you summon enough corpse to sustain spirit offering AND VD? (what do u drop for unearth/gmp/greater volley?)

AND

dont u reach the 60limit too quickly making you force to go in range? instead of letting VD ball fly overto the boss from afar?

lastly, I still do not understand why you guys use purifying flame... it doesnt add anything...

Around the 20:00 mark, if you are still interested.

Also, any advise for this please?
In light of recent events, which one would you recommend?
(I have a i9 9900K and 1080Ti, so my PC can handle the Spell Cascade even - although I'm having fps drops like crazy... but that happens anyways.)

Concentrated Effect
|
Awakened Fire Penetration OR Controlled Destruction OR Spell Cascade

Is there a reliable way to calculate these?

Awakened Fire Pen will be more damage than Controlled Destruction in any maps with EE or +res mods. Especially with AL8 bonuses.

As for Spell Cascade you have to take your damage per ball and multiply it by your average ball count per proc (typically 6-7 with regular spell cascade). With spell cascade mana may also be an issue as you will have a higher attack speed because of more corpses consumed.

Use PoB to do your calculations.

Okay, but damage wise on average, Spell Cascade would be the best, right?

According to PoB Controlled Destruction has 20% more damage then Awakened Fire Penetration and around double compared to Spell Cascade

I've made some upgrades on my ring, amulet and belt, build seems a lot better now
I don't understand the whole build yet, but it seems to be way more consistant, both in damage and in survivance now, even that i just changed the resistance... Why is resist so important?
That is my build now:

I'm a bit lost with the gems yet, what should i change? Think my chest is weird too and i don't know what to use instead of spectre
Thanks

I'm trying to figure out my next gear upgrade. I'd like to fit in a circle of anguish, but I obviously would have to give up one of my ring slots for it. Which modifier is more important, the life gain on hit or the flammability? I can't afford the glove corrupt for flammability (it's 20 ex atm).

So if you have double that of Spell Cascade then you need to produce an average of 7 VDs per spawn to be more net DPS than CD. For me I averaged 6-7 per trigger with a 4L Unearth setup. I never noticed a difference in clear speed and I like having the extra 3-4L setup. These sockets can be used for more utility with things like Culling Strike, PCOC, Curse(s), Golems, etc...Also less stress on game performance.

Since you're using a Fire Leech amulet, the LGOH isn't as important. The biggest issue is getting enough resists to compensate for the loss of a ring slot.

At first glance:

1) You need leash of oblation in order to be able to use 2 offerings. Remove Bone offering (until you have both a 21%+ offering effect body armour & leash)
2) Get a body armour with 21%+ offering effect. Huge boost. Ideally with an empty prefix for 10% of life as extra ES.
3) How do you sustain mana?
4) Boot enchant is really bad for this built.
5) You have no chaos resistance
6) No ES on hit (either aspect of spider + fenumu's or watchers eye)
7) Swap combustion for ele focus in you CwC set up. Much more damage and you will have plenty of ignites from the combustion set up in your chest.
8) I would guess Anger would give you a lot more DPS than Zealotry
9) You can probably remove some damage from your tree and pick up the shadow life nodes as well as Arcane will

ty , but how to sustain mana
I've found something interesting, so I tough I share it.

I like to experiment with the minor details of the build, so I went end checked what other people are using on poe.ninja.

The major things are the same as in Gryphenprey's build, but there are some differences, which might make the build a little bit better.

https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?sort=dps&dps=Volatile-Dead

The most noticeable difference for me is the use of a lvl 7 Desecrate gem; the use of the Inspiration Support and maybe the amount of Curses they are using.

I would recommend checking a couple; you might find something interesting.

My point was that PoB's calculation is probably incorrect. Also, I didnt really understand what you've been trying to say; is Spell Cascade in a 1-to-1 comparison better then CD or Aw. Fire Pen, or not?

Thanks, that's what I figured (albeit a bit annoying, because getting a good enough (for my liking) unset ring with flammability is a bit of a bother. The resists are a non-issue, since I upgraded my belt earlier, so I'm now massively overcapped (except in lightning res, but even then that's only 10% missing without spirit offering active, and easily fixable). Iirc I can unequip my boots and one ring and still be capped, and worst case I can get a jewel with a few resists in one level.

Switching my amulet to an aul's is a different beast though. I don't think I'm gonna be able to do that, even if it's only because of the attributes. So I think after the ring, my only viable upgrades are bottled faith and elusive/tailwind boots and then I can't do any improvements anymore. Unless I want to spend 50+ ex on a single gear piece that is.
